Vintage Pens: 2062: Wahl-Eversharp: 707
Eversharp 707 fountain pens have been popular on the site lately. We aren't quite certain if they are from the late 1940s or early 1950s, but they are an attractive follow-up to the Eversharp Skylines of the early 1940s. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. The gold plating is wearing pretty thin in places on the cap, which shows a steel base underneath. The forest green barrel also shows some moderate to heavy wear. The original 14k gold nib writes a fine-medium line with a little drag. 13.4cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 2052: Wahl-Eversharp: Skyline?
After World War II, the Wahl-Eversharp Skyline began undergoing several drastic changes before being phased out of production. We aren't 100% certain, but we think this might be one of those evolutions. The barrel flares out and tapers to the tail similar to but not as drastically as the iconic Skyline design from the war. It has a great two-tone polished chrome and golden-trim cap. The cap and barrel have some light wear and one deep scratch. The rest is great. The nib and inkfeed assembly are the same as the original Skyline. This one writes a fine line, but it has some FLEX! Not a wet noodle, but it has some respectable flex. We restored the pen with a new ink sac. 14.1cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 2051: Wahl-Eversharp: 707
Out of the late 1940s or early 1950s rides this quasi-New Old Stock Eversharp 707. It has its original tax sticker on the barrel, but the pen had definitely been inked and used. We cleaned, polished and installed a new ink sac. The plating is wearing off the bottom of the cap. The barrel has light surface wear. The original 14k gold nib writes a very nice smooth fine line. Click the headline for good close-ups. 13.6cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 2045: Wahl-Eversharp: 707
Made in either the late 1940s or early 1950s, this Eversharp 707 is technically new old stock and complete with its original sticker. Unfortunately, the cap picked up a few serious scratches along the way. (Click the headline for close-ups of the 3 big scratches on the cap just below and to the left of the clip.) The barrel also shows some wear. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac, and it is ready to finally fulfill its purpose in life writing brilliant letters, notes, journal entries and stories. The original inkfeed and 14k gold nib write a very smooth, wet medium line. 14cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 1931: Wahl-Eversharp: Gold Filled Fountain Pen
Wahl made some incredibly handsome pens back in the 1920s. This gold-filled vintage pen is easy on the eyes with no dents or deep scratches. Its pin-striping has only a few little wear spots. We restored it with a new ink sac. No engravings blemish its name plate. Click the headline for close-ups that show a little chipping in the gold-fill around the edge of the section. The 14k gold Eversharp nib writes a nice wet, medium line with a hint of feedback, but it isn't so bad it can't still be a daily driver. 12.5cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 1953 Wahl-Eversharp Gold Seal Equipoise
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1930-1939
Price: $249.99
Vintage Pens: 1953: Wahl-Eversharp: Gold Seal Equipoise
Glittering gold swirls its way through the green celluloid of this classic vintage pen. Our Wahl-Eversharp Gold Seal is an Equipoise...we think. A rival had a similar pen listed as such, but most other Equipoise pens don't have the black topper with a gold center or a black bottom cap. The rest is pretty spot on. The thicker middle cap band has a diamond cut pattern of diagonal lines. There are no cracks or brassing. We restored the pen with a fresh ink sac. The original 14k gold nib is marked "Gold Seal Manifold." It writes a buttery smooth fine line on a dip. Aside from some light wear, the only major flaw is some grey taking over the gold in the first half of the barrel of the pen. Click the headline for closeups. 12.1cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 1952 Wahl-Eversharp Oversized Fountain Pen
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1930-1939
Price: $199.99

Vintage Pens: 1952: Wahl-Eversharp: Oversized Fountain Pen
Oversized. Buttery smooth nib. Flexible nib. Fully restored with a large ink sac. We suspect this Wahl pen is many vintage pen collector's perfect daydream. Yes, there is a small crack in the lip of the cap, which has more discoloration than the barrel. But, write with this huge, handsome devil, and you will forget about all of its imperfections. The original 14k gold nib is a huge size 6. It doesn't have a lot of flex, but it does have some. We mentioned it is a buttery smooth, wet medium writer, right? Wide girth, light weight means hours of writing without cramping. 13.9cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 1889 Wahl-Eversharp Doric Gold Seal
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1930-1939
Price: $75.00
SOLD!
Vintage Pens: 1889: Wahl-Eversharp: Doric Gold Seal
Typically a full-size (not oversized) Gold Seal Wahl-Eversharp Doric in burgundy sells for $300 or more. Our beautiful vintage pen has about half its cap lip missing. Please click the headline for better close ups. You will even see the rarer "Made in Canada" imprint in the "nib" photo. We have restored this pen with a fresh ink sac. Despite its damage it is still a fully functioning fountain pen. The real kicker is that the top and bottom of the pen have only just started showing signs of discoloration. The "krazing" has not really started yet. The original 14k gold MANIFOLD nib writes a medium line with a little drag. Apply any pressure and it really digs in. Engraved "John D Kirkwood." 13.2cm capped.
