Pre-Owned Pens: 6098: Conway Stewart: 100 Series Limited
We love the playful color palette of translucent flecks on the design of this limited edition Conway Stewart 100 Series pen. The company calls this color "Flecked Autumn." We would be more apt to call it spumoni or birthday cake. Complete with its original boxes and papers, it is in near-mint condition. It is a classic lever-filler, which we love as much as the colors. You will write a smooth fine-medium line with its 18k gold nib. Click the headline for close-ups. Numbered 13 of 500. 12.9cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 6367: Mont Blanc: 146
Everyone talks about the Montblanc 149 as being the uber-pen of the boardroom, but we love the Montblanc 146 size better. This is still a large pen, by most measures, but it fits the hand much more comfortably. The piston filler operates very smoothly. Smoother still is its two-tone 14k gold nib. You will write a buttery smooth medium line with just a touch of line variation. Almost a stub but not quite. A lovely writer. No cracks or substantial wear. Comes from a dedicated Montblanc collector. There is a serial number in the cap band but no Pix under the clip. Guaranteed authentic. 14.6cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 6470 Parker Vacumatic Set
Filling Mechanism: Vacuum Filler
Era: 1930-1939   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $175.00
Vintage Pens: 6470: Parker: Vacumatic Set
Golden Pearl is always one of our favorite Parker Vacumatic colors. This Parker Vacumatic Debutant set looks stunning. The vintage pen is fully restored with a new diaphragm, and the cap and barrel sport minimal wear from use. No brassing, but the barrel is a bit ambered. The dating on this set is great, as it was made on the cusp of 1939. The barrel imprint on the pen says 1st quarter 1939. The two-tone 14k gold nib sports a 1938 date. And the working clicker pencil has a Q4 1938 date code. You will write a nice medium line with the nib, by the way. Remember, the Debutants are the smallest of the Vac models. Pen measures 12cm capped.

Hardcore Pelikan collectors, today's your lucky day! Here is a genuinely limited edition Pelikan that is off-catalog from the standard Pelikan fare. The Swiss watch company called Chronoswiss contracted with Pelikan to make a limited edition run of 999 company-themed pens for its very high-end clientele. Thus the Cronoswiss Styloscope pen was born. Our preowned luxury pen is new old stock and complete with all of its boxes and papers. Not only do you get a leather carrying case and mini pad of paper. You get not one but two 18k gold nibs! The nib installed in the pen is a medium point, and the spare nib is an Oblique Broad! The pen has sterling silver trim and is numbered 725 of 999. It is basically the same size as a Pelikan 800. Click the headline for close-ups.
Pre-Owned Pens: 6379 Parker Duofold International
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $299.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 6379: Parker: Duofold International
Brilliant orange looks great on the modern Parker Duofold International pens. Based on the old "Big Reds" of the 1920s, these are every bit as good. Our preowned luxury pen only shows light wear on the pen and trim. No cracks, deep scratches or engravings. There is a little black schmutz in the barrel threads for the cap. You will write a nice, smooth medium line with its two-tone 18k gold nib. Included is a working Parker converter. Click the headline for close-ups. The International models were slightly thinner and shorter than the Centennial models. 13.1cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 6309 Wahl-Eversharp Symphony
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1950-1959   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $99.99
Vintage Pens: 6309: Wahl-Eversharp: Symphony
Among the epic failures of the golden era of vintage pen is the story of the Eversharp Symphony. Designed to replace the wildly popular Eversharp Skyline, this Eversharp Symphony is a handsome pen. We love the dark-blue barrel paired with the chrome and gold-plated cap. Unfortunately for Wahl-Eversharp, its Symphony never quite caught on with the writing public. We restored this pen with a new ink sac. The barrel has some moderate wear but no cracks or nasty scars. No dents mar the cap. You will write a really wet medim--some might call it broad. It has some feedback but not hideous. 14.1cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 6396 Faber Castell Graf von Faber-Castell
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $299.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 6396: Faber Castell: Graf von Faber-Castell
Germany is a tough market for luxury pens, and it is a shame that Faber-Castell often gets overlooked. This is their Graf von Faber Castell fountain pen. Sterling silver plates its cap, section and tail end. Pernambuco wood handsomely furnishes the barrel. Its two-tone 18k gold nib writes a smooth medium line. However, we think it will write even better after you've used it for a little while. On our brief testing, it had the occasional hard start and random hint of feedback. Yet, the longer we wrote with it, the more these ticks in its behavior went away. No dents or scratches. Includes a standard international converter. 13.7cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 6283 Bexley Gemstone
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $199.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 6283: Bexley: Gemstone
Looking like it just danced out of the souvenir shop in Emerald City from "The Wizard of Oz" is this stunning Technicolor green Bexley Gemstone fountain pen. At least we think the model name is "Gemstone;" we aren't certain. Borrowing a bit from the Waterman 100-Year Pen in design, it is an absolute knock-out. It shows some light wear from past use, but it is generally pretty amazing. Better yet, you'll write a buttery smooth medium line with its two-tone 14k gold nib. Included is a standard international converter. Click the headline for close-ups. 13.9cm capped.
