Vintage Pens: 3068: Wahl-Eversharp: Skyline Set
You could find a more beautiful pen and pencil set, but you might have to leave the galaxy to find it. We adore this Eversharp Skyline moire set in a vibrant green. It is the standard size set, not junior or executive/oversized. The vintage pen has been restored with a new ink sac. The early click pencil still works well and comes loaded with a 1.1mm lead. (The eraser under the clicker is shot.) Both writing instruments are very clean, with very little wear. The pencil has brassing on the nose cone. The pen only seems to have a little brassing on the lever. The 14k gold nib writes a very nice wet, medium line with a touch of feedback. The pen measures 13cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 3067: Wahl-Eversharp: Skyline Executive
The most sought after Eversharp Skyline fountain pens are the executive models. These are the oversized versions of the popular pen. This Eversharp Skyline Executive has been fully restored with a fresh ink sac. The black barrel shows a little wear around the section and where the cap screws onto barrel. The green cap with blue and black stripes has no cracks and is in great condition. There are a couple teeny spots of brassing on the trim, but it is hardly noticeable. The 14k gold nib is a medium, but it also has a little bit of a stub quality! Click the headline to see it better. The section has a little play at times, but it is in securely. 14.5cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 3052: Wahl-Eversharp: Skyline Executive
Wahl-Eversharp Skyline pens brought brilliant design to the vintage pens of the 1940s. Really hard to find are these large "executive" size Eversharp Skyline pens. We have fully restored this one with a new ink sac and breather tube. The breather tubes were included with the intention of making the pen better suited to air travel and the pressure changes involved. It really didn't do much to keep the pens from making a mess with changes in altitude, but it was a clever idea and gimmick that made the aerodynamic pens popular with WWII pilots. This pen has seen plenty of action. There are no cracks, but you'll see ample wear in little scratches, scars and other marks on the green striped cap and forest green barrel. There's some brassing on the lever. The original 14k gold nib writes wet, smooth medium line. 14.3cm capped.

Green and gold make for a handsome combo on this standard size (not executive) Eversharp Skyline. Featuring great aerodynamic styling, we found this pen already fully restored with a fresh ink sac. It does not appear to have a breather tube in it, but it fills well. The 14k gold-filled cap is dent free, but the green plastic dome has some scratches. There also is some brassing in the top cap band. The British racing green barrel has some wear and scratches but is sound and crack free. The original 14k gold nib writes a needle-fine line with some flex. Slightly more flex than a semi-flex nib, this nib will need a lot of training to flow and work the way you might want. It is a little finicky, but you can get it rockin' with practice and a little work. 13.3cm capped.

Bullet-headed and aerodynamically tapered, the Eversharp Skyline fountain pen was an art deco triumph. Designed to also be cutting edge technology, it featured a breather tube inside it to supposedly equalize air pressure on flights so your pen didn't make a mess. Can't say that the system prevented many leaks in flight, but they get an A for effort. It's still a sharp lookin' vintage pen. This one has been fully restored with a new ink sac and its original breather tube. No cracks, some light wear and a little brassing. The original 14k gold nib writes an extra-fine/fine line with a little feedback, but it isn't too distracting. 12.2cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 2916: Wahl-Eversharp: Lowey Symphony
Hard-to-find Lowey caps are always able to put a smile on our faces. The split-level cap design is a space age effect that we love from the post-war era. The Eversharp Symphony is an otherwise nice, basic lever-filling vintage pen. It has been fully restored with a new ink sac. Showing moderate to heavy wear with scratches in places, it writes a nice wet, fine line with its original 14k gold nib. 14cm capped.

Not only were the Eversharp Skyline fountain pens revolutionary, so were the pencils. Revolutionary because it was Eversharp that invented the click pencil that we take for granted today! Made of a deep burgundy barrel and 14k gold-filled other half, this vintage pencil is unique in that it doesn't have a metal nose cone! It is in great working order. Remove the tail clicker button to reveal where the 1.1mm lead refills go. It has the name "R.A. Staffenson" engraved on the burgundy barrel, but there isn't a lot of other noticeable wear. No dents, cracks or deep scratches. The eraser is petrified. 13.2cm.

Vintage Pens: : Wahl-Eversharp: Skyline
This pen is black with a 24k gold tip. The body has some wear and the pen does work. I'm not sure what age the pen is. The pen was in a box with other items found in an antique store.
