Pre-Owned Pens: 2321 Namiki Pilot Vanishing Point
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $125.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 2321: Namiki Pilot: Vanishing Point
In our humble opinion, one of the coolest fountain pen innovations in recent decades was the clickable Namiki/Pilot Vanishing Point. Click it like a ballpoint to reveal the nib, which is internally capped to keep it from drying out easily. It uses proprietary cartridges and converters. This black Carbonesque Pilot Vanishing point comes complete with its converter and cartridge cap, box and papers. This one was heavily used in rotation, but you wouldn't notice to look at it. Only light wear around where the nib comes out of the pen. The 14k gold nib is marked as fine, but it is a Japanese fine that is closer to extra-fine. To us, most fine and extra-fine nibs feel just a little scratchy, and this is no different. 14cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2315 Sailor 1911
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $249.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2315: Sailor: 1911
Sailor makes some of the finest pens in the world, and we love this brightly colored Sailor 1911. It was only gently and sparingly used. Very few blemishes mar its beauty. A little ink staining is in threads. Filling with a proprietary Sailor cartridge or converter, we are sorry to say this pen comes with neither. The 21k white gold nib writes an extra-fine line. People who write all day will love the slightly wider grip on this pen, which will help prevent their hand from cramping. A metal anchor is slightly raised above the flat top of the cap. 12.8cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 0511 Waterman C/F
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1950-1959
Price: $19.99
Vintage Pens: 0511: Waterman: C/F
Waterman heralded the disposable cartridge era of fountain pens with its Waterman C/F (Cartridge/Fill) in the 1950s. Although cartridges were first introduced into pens back in the 1910s with glass and clay cartridges, neither was practical. The Waterman C/F used plastic. We include an original 1950s plastic cartridge in this pen! You can refill it using a syringe. We strongly doubt modern cartridges or converters will fit in this pen. The 14k gold nib writes a nice fine line with some feedback. The pen is pretty beat-up looking. Most of the original gold plating is worn off. Heavy scratching and wear covers all of the plastic surfaces. Basically, this is a good user-grade model with which to experiment and expand your vintage pen collection. Click the headline for close-ups. 13.3cm capped.

Era: 1980-present
Price: $199.99

The modern revival of the LeBoeuf brand makes for quality writing and design. Our two-tone LeBoeuf fountain pen dazzles with an opalescent cap jewel. It fills with a threaded international converter, which is included, or international cartridges. This pen is pristine without any dents or dings and minimal traces of wear. The two-tone 18k gold nib is marked a medium. It writes very smoothly. 14cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2333 Diplomat Classic Collection
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $49.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2333: Diplomat: Classic Collection
Green marbling looks great on this standard-size Diplomat Classic Collection fountain pen. It is great condition with only minimal wear. Attracting attention for all the right reasons, it is much more solidly constructed than its more famous German rivals. The pen fills with either standard international cartridges or converters, but it comes with neither. The nib is made of two-toned steel. Plating is wearing pretty thin. Click the headline to see. The nib is marked medium, but it writes a broad line with a little feedback. 13.5cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2289 Parker Premier
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $275.00  Was: $499.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2289: Parker: Premier
Topping the company's lineup of pens is the Parker Premier. Dashing, modern and robustly elegant, bushed black steel is what it looks like, but it is really a nickel-palladium base metal with a ceramic finish! Nearly flawless is the best way to describe its condition. It uses Parker cartridges and converters, but it comes with neither. The black arrow nib borrows a little from the classic Parker Vacumatic look. The nib is really marked 18k gold. Click the headline for a close up. It is coated in black ruthenium. It writes a nice fine line. 13.9cm capped.

Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2257: Monte Verde: Invincia Stealth
Sleek, blackened brushed steel makes for an unforgettable look in this Monte Verde Invincia Stealth, but its 1mm stub nib makes its performance even more unforgettable. It looks new except for a little wear on the ball of the clip and a small wear spot in the middle of the barrel. In both places the black has worn off. This pen comes with a screw-in standard international converter. It also uses standard international cartridges. On the top of the cap is a rubber stylus to use on your digital devices! 14cm capped.
