Here's a very Very 1980s S.T. Dupont Classique. It sports a silver-plated barrel with stripes all around. The cap is also silver plated, but it is smooth with a golden clip and cap band. There is no formal metal purity imprint, but there is a griffin in a box next to the word Paris in the cap band. There is almost no trace of wear on the whole pen. It comes with an S.T. Dupont converter, and it can also take the brand's ink cartridges. The 18k gold nib has a modern design that writes a beautifully smooth, wet medium line. 13.8cm capped.

Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $499.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2551: Delta: Indigenous Peoples Ainu
The Italian craftsmen of Delta pay tribute to the native cultures of the world with the Indigenous Peoples series of limited edition pens. This pen is dedicated to the Ainu of the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido. We can only assume that the multi-dimensional blue celluloid represents the waters of the northern Pacific Ocean. The "rosette" on the 18k gold nib actually represents a traditional necklace of the Ainu. The nib is marked medium and writes more like a smooth fine to us. Sterling silver is used for the trim, and there is very little wear on the pen. Numbered 0122 of 1643. 14.2cm capped.

The only think missing is the converter, but it does have that little metal cartridge cover. The gold nib is marked fine, but it writes like an extra-fine razor blade. 14cm.

Cerberus was the ancient Greek hellhound who guarded the gates of the underworld. He happily ushered in new souls, but he was vicious in his duties denying exit to the souls that had crossed the threshold into the underworld. Many ancient civilizations dating back more than 6,000 years had similar dogs with similar duties. The Mont Blanc Mythical Creatures Cerberus pays tribute to the Greek monster in Asian fashion. One of only 300 pens made, this very limited Mont Blanc features a gold-plated barrel and a porcelain cap created by the legendary Meissen porcelain craftsman in Germany. One of the company's original designs from around 1725 serves as a foundation for this 2008 model. Stickered, new-old-stock, this pen seems never have been used. The artists of Meissen base this bird on the Feng-Huang from China. It was the bird of the Empress who symbolized blessings, happiness and peace. Meissen started replicating the splendor of Chinese porcelain in 1710 and created its first Bird of Paradise design on a plate in 1735. Mont Blanc teamed with Meissen to make these beautiful pens. This is the 2005 model, and it appears it was never inked or used. Its 18k gold nib is a medium, and the converter remains free of ink. The pen comes with its complete boxes and a little book.
