$3,999.99Inspired by the incredible Fabergé Eggs of the Russian czar, the artisans at Michel Perchin set out to recreate the eggs as writing instruments! Our Michel Perchin Fabergé Imperial Russia in red emulates the stunning works of art beautifully. The entire cap and barrel are made of solid sterling silver that was then engraved by hand with intricate guilloché. The higher relief work was coated in gold, while the quilloché work was painstakingly enameled with red glass! Each of only 500 hand-made pens of this design took hundreds of hours to complete. This is pen 97 of 500. You might be the lucky first person to ever write with it, as it has sat unused in storage for nearly 30 years. Comes complete with all of its original boxes and papers. Its 18k gold nib is two-toned and looks like a fine point. Click the headline for close-ups.

$1,299.99Here it is! One of the Granddaddies of Grail Pens: the Waterman Patrician. We've restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. What makes this pen really stand out to us is its black hard rubber (ebonite) cap and barrel. It has a little oxidation and moderate wear, but it isn't a mess of chocolate hazing, either. No cracks. Click the headline for close-ups. You'll write a nice, firm medium line with a little feedback with its original 14k gold Patrician nib. There's a little brassing on the cap band, and there's a slight bulge under the left-side of the clip (as you face it) where it attaches to the pen. The big golden Waterman's seal on the flat tail of the pen looks like a baseball with "Waterman's" written inside it. This is the big 'un. 13.9cm capped.

5348 Sheaffer Titan Filling Mechanism:
PencilEra:
1920-1929Price:
$99.99Sheaffer Titans were the company's flagship oversized pencils of the 1920s. Our vintage pencil is in great working order. Twist the tail topper to advance and retract the 1.1mm lead. It comes with spare leads and a hardened eraser. There's a little knick in the top of the cap and some wear to the clip and nose cone...but not especially damning. The celluloid barrel looks pretty good with only a trace of discoloring. 13.5cm.

5343 Sheaffer Targa Filling Mechanism:
RollerballEra:
1980-presentPrice:
$75.00Sheaffer's first real hit in the post-Golden Age of pens came in the 1970s with the Sheaffer Targa. Its design screams 1970s and '80s. Bold, modern, a cylindrical body squared off on the top and bottom. Our pen has a matte-black finish with gold plated trim. An excellent rollerball pen, its refill is a real tanker. There is an old refill in it now, but we have just ordered some new ones, which we will include with it, as soon as they arrive. Minimal, if any, wear. 13.7cm capped.
