Enjoy the 2006 limited edition Pilot Vanishing Point fountain pen in dazzling "Ice Blue." This preowned luxury pen comes complete with its original boxes and papers. It even has its cartridge cap, in case you want to stop using its working converter and switch over to proprietary Pilot cartridges. A close inspection will show light traces of wear in the ice blue, but no one sitting near you will ever see it. The rhodium trim is a little more scuffed around the nib zone. Marked "F" for a fine point, this 18k gold nib really writes an extra-fine line with a little feedback. Its clam-shell presentation box is fine, but there is some deterioration on the cross strap of the pad upon which the pen rests. 14cm.

Italian racing red and handsome sterling silver trim make for a great tribute to a classic Italian car company. Our Delta Alfa Romero fountain pen is quite the site to behold. Our preowned luxury pen has very little wear from use, though you can see the top of the nib is scuffed a little when you click the headline for close-ups. Complete with its boxes, papers and converter. You will write a nice, smooth, juicy broad line with its 18k gold nib. Unfortunately, the writing experience is plagued by many hard starts that we don't know how to fix. Pretty much every word has a hard start. Be warned. 13.6cm capped.

Fit enough for pharaoh, this limited edition Cross Townsend Lapis Lazuli uses the same lapis quarry as the ancient Egyptians! We love these gold-flecked beauties. Showing minimal wear to the cap and barrel, you will find this preowned luxury pen to be stunning. Click the headline for a close-up. You will write a wet, medium line with its two-tone 18k gold nib that was mistakenly marked "F" for fine. A Cross converter is included with the pen. Unfortunately, we no longer have the boxes or papers. 15cm capped.

The modern Waterman pen company began to find its groove again in the 1980s and '90s. Sales began to return from oblivion with pens such as this Waterman Laureat. Our attractive blue-marble preowned pen shows a little wear from use, but it is in pretty good cosmetic shape. Only the steel nib shows any obvious wear, as its gold plating is coming off in places. Isn't the early 1930s' marbled grey-and-red design one of the prettiest of the decades? Something really rings our bell about the celluloid of this Waterman 3V. Better than that, this pen comes with a double-broad 14k gold nib. Click the headline for a close-up. It looks like a stub but writes like a fire hose with its exceedingly smooth tip. If you haven't noticed, yet, there is one major flaw to this pen. The lift-tab of the lever is missing. The only way to lift it enough to engage the filling system is to use a toothpick or a pin to get in there and lift it. The good news is that we just restored the pen with a fresh ink sac. No cracks, light wear from use. 10.7cm capped.

Here's a rare treat for you. Welcome to the Waterman 7 Yellow! These pens were especially easy to identify by the colorful ring around the top of the cap. The ring corresponded to a nib named for the color. Each color represented a different use case for the pen. Yellow was designated for left-handed writers and anyone wanting a lot of tipping and customization. We find it writes a smooth, wet medium line. Better yet, we love that it has enough flex to go to about 2mm wide! Click the headline for a close-up of the pen and nib. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. It has a fair amount of brassing on the pocket clip, cap band and lever box. Luckily, no cracks or significant wear to the orange rippled hard rubber has been discovered. 14.2cm capped.

We love finding vintage pen packaging. We just discovered this winter scene Waterman box with the pencil below inside of it. The matching Waterman 3V fountain pen was elsewhere in the collection, so we decided to put it all together. The vintage pen and pencil are in remarkably good condition. A little wear and marking from use, but no cracks or long scars. We restored the pen with a new ink sac. You will write a very nice semi-flex line from fine to 1mm wide with its 14k gold nib. The pencil remains in good working order and takes 1.1mm lead. The box is in pretty good condition. The name "Gerard J. Inguagiato" is beautifully written in pencil with a lovely cursive script. Gerard might have been a tween or teen at the time, as his name is repeated in the less confident hand of a younger person still mastering cursive. Click the headline for close-ups.

Handmade in India, this mottled yellow ebonite fountain pen by Ranga is a handsome retro modern writer. Officially it is the Ranga Model 3. It is large at nearly 6-inches long and rather girthy. Looks nearly new. Minimal if any wear. Click the headline for close-ups. Even though the two-tone steel nib is marked F for fine, it seems more like an extra-fine to us. It comes with a Ranga box, too. However, we aren't sure if this is the original box to this pen. 15.1cm capped.
