Vintage Pens: 2071 Sheaffer Balance
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1930-1939
Price: $49.99
Vintage Pens: 2071: Sheaffer: Balance
Grey and red color combinations were very popular in pens in the 1930s. Our junior size Sheaffer Balance is stunning with red veins in grey marbling. It has a little wear and a couple scratches, but the colors and finish dazzle to the point where you don't notice the blemishes. We restored it with a fresh ink sac. It has a strong imprint, denoting Canadian heritage. There's a little brassing on the clip and cap ring's nickle trim. The inkfeed has a tiny chip taken out of its very end space. Depending angle you write using, it can be a dry extra-fine nib at high angles or a regular fine at low angles of attack. Either way, the original 14k gold nib writes smoothly, but it likely won't be the best writer in your stable. The ink view window has good clarity. 12.8cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 2070 Parker Duofold
Filling Mechanism: Vacuum Filler
Era: 1940-1949
Price: $99.99
Vintage Pens: 2070: Parker: Duofold
"V" most definitely stood for "victory" in 1945 when this Parker Duofold was made. A rarer "victory" nib is what will make this vintage pen really stand out. We have restored the pen with a fresh new diaphragm. The red-and-grey barrel also has some decent clarity to see the ink level inside the pen! Click the headline and you can see close ups of its flaws, too. While in good working order, the back of the cap has two nasty scars running perpendicular to the straiting of the design. NO CRACKS, but lots of other little scratches and marks. Strong imprint. This is a slightly larger size pen. The "V" nib writes a nice fine line. 13.5cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2067 Omas Limited Edition Paragon Arco
Filling Mechanism: Piston Filler
Era: 1980-present
Price: $899.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2067: Omas: Limited Edition Paragon Arco
Click the headline for better photos because you will not want to miss any of the detail on this incredible limited edition Omas Paragon Arco Verde. Green and grey ripple and shimmer from the top of the fountain pen to the bottom. Gently used and in almost like-new condition, this pen is a stunner. Unlike many other limited edition pens, this one is actually limited: #33 of 80. It comes complete with its large display box, a nearly full bottle of green Omas ink, a pen sleeve and all of its papers. The filler works smoothly. The original 18k white gold nib is marked and writes a medium line. The nib has a hint of feedback, but it also has a little FLEX! Great for display or use. 14.1cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 2069 Parker Duofold Set
Filling Mechanism: Vacuum Filler
Era: 1940-1949
Price: $125.00
Vintage Pens: 2069: Parker: Duofold Set
The second generation of Parker Duofolds were art deco beauties. This vacumatic-filling 1941 vintage pen set features a fully restored fountain pen and a still-working pencil. There are a couple little, but deep, scars just to the right of the clip near the top of the cap on the fountain pen, but the rest of the pen is in great shape with only lighter wear from daily use. There is a hairline crack in the lip of the cap that only goes up to the cap bands. You can only find it by using your thumbnail. We restored this pen with a brand new diaphragm. Strong imprint. No brassing on cap bands, but the clip does feature some. The original 14k gold nib writes a smooth fine line. The pencil shows more wear with heavy brassing on the cap band and clip. It would appear that the pencil saw much more use in the 1940s. Pen is the standard size and measures 13.1cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 2068 Parker Duofold
Filling Mechanism: Vacuum Filler
Era: 1940-1949
Price: $125.00
Vintage Pens: 2068: Parker: Duofold
At the height of the Great Depression, Parker's flagship Vacumatic pens were too expensive for many people. As such, they resuscitated the recently retired Duofold name for a popular second-tier pen in their line up. It's striped art deco design remained so popular, that it was updated with a vacumatic filler midway through its production run. This standard size second generation Parker Duofold sports a 1941 date code. We restored its filler with a new diaphragm. This green-and-tan pattern seems to be rarer to us than the more common red-and-grey and blue-and-grey models. There are no cracks or deep blemishes, but it has a lot of light surface wear that dulls its luster. The barrel has remarkable see-through clarity. There is light brassing on the cap bands and clip. The original 14k gold nib writes a smooth fine line. 13.1cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2066 Omas 360 Vision
Filling Mechanism: Piston Filler
Era: 1980-present
Price: $499.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2066: Omas: 360 Vision
It still strikes us as sad that Omas is no more. It was the epitome of Italian design and craftsmanship for more than 80 years. The Omas 360 was a popular model with its triangular grip and shape. This Omas 360 Vision is a gently used demonstrator model that comes complete with its inner leather box, papers and outer cardboard box. It also comes with a blue leather sleeve. Blue ink stains the piston head, inner section and inner cap. The rest has been flushed clean. The piston still works very smoothly. The 18k white gold nib writes a medium line. Despite the stains, there is very little actual wear on the pen. It was very well preserved and treated. 15.3cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2034 Waterman Laureat
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $69.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2034: Waterman: Laureat
Electric blue and black shapes shoot through this incredibly handsome Waterman Laureat pen set. Complete with a fountain pen and ballpoint pen, this set shows almost no wear. Only the fountain pen has just a couple tiny little marks. The ballpoint is loaded with with a working refill, but we have no idea how full it is. The fountain pen uses standard international cartridges, and it somes with its original converter. The golden alloy nib writes a fine line with a delicate scratch to it. It isn't an overwhelming scratch. This is the type of scratch that people who love scratchy nibs love...a sense of feedback that doesn't effect the writing quality. Complete with box and papers.

Vintage Pens: 2062: Wahl-Eversharp: 707
Eversharp 707 fountain pens have been popular on the site lately. We aren't quite certain if they are from the late 1940s or early 1950s, but they are an attractive follow-up to the Eversharp Skylines of the early 1940s. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. The gold plating is wearing pretty thin in places on the cap, which shows a steel base underneath. The forest green barrel also shows some moderate to heavy wear. The original 14k gold nib writes a fine-medium line with a little drag. 13.4cm capped.
