$39.99Riding the success of the Esterbrook J-model pen, Esterbrook M2 pens updated the design and added a Parker 51-style aerometric filler! Our pen is still in good working order and unrestored. While we don't think the pen was used much, it does sport some wear. Luckily, there are no cracks. You will write a fairly smooth fine line with its steel 2556 nib. 13.4cm capped.

EyedropperEra:

SFPrice:
$749.99Here's one from the waaaay-back machine: a Parker 25 1/2! This is an oversized eyedropper from some time after the turn of the 20th century! Best of all, it is free of cracks. Sure. It has scratches, wear, faded imprints and some chocolate hazing but who doesn't after 110 years or more? You can see the original Lucky Curve imprint, though it is shallow/faded. The 25 1/2 tail imprint required magnification for us to read it. Click the headline for a close-up of the very early 14k gold Parker #5 nib! It is a great semi-flex that goes from fine to 2mm wide. We soaked out a lot of old ink, but it seems the old ink has sealed the eyedropper shut for now. We didn't want to force it and ruin such an amazing piece of history. 14.1cm capped.

5435 Sheaffer Clipper Filling Mechanism:
SnorkelEra:
1950-1959 Fountain Pen Nib Size:
FPrice:
$175.00There's something particularly nautical and romantic about the Sheaffer Clipper. We have visions of Pan Am Clipper flying boats in the Caribbean or even the older sailing clipper ships with their cargo of tea from China. And yet, the Sheaffer Clipper was cutting edge modern technology in the 1950s. A mess-free way of filling a fountain pen with a snorkel and pneumatic pressure. This vintage pen and pencil set is New Old Stock. The pen is still stickered, and it comes with the original box and instructions. Amazingly, we filled the pen with water, straight out of the box! No restoration needed. The pencil is in excellent working order, too. The nib sticker on the pen says the palladium-silver nib writes a fine line. Click the headline for close-ups! Pastel Green.

We didn't have to replace anything. This is the palladium silver nib marked M6. Click the headline for close-ups. The pencil is in great working order, too. We even think there is still some life left in its original blue eraser!

5430 Waterman C/F Filling Mechanism:
Cartridge/ConverterEra:
1950-1959 Fountain Pen Nib Size:
FLEXIPrice:
$149.99Cartridge fillers are not a new phenomena in fountain pens. The first ones date back to around the turn of the 20th century. However, those early ones were not entirely practical and prone to their glass and clay cartridges breaking. On the American market, Waterman C/F pens introduced what we have come to know as the first cartridge pens with disposable plastic cartridges. These pens were Waterman's last hit in the 1950s and until the company was revitalized in the 1980s. This rare New Old Stock set is unused and pristine. From the "Fine Flex" chalk mark on the barrel of the pen to 4 unopened, still waxed shut original cartridges, this vintage pen belongs in a museum. Click the headline for close-ups. The steel nib doesn't feel flexi to us, but that is how it was advertised.

5428 Sheaffer Tuckaway Crest Filling Mechanism:
TouchDownEra:
1940-1949 Fountain Pen Nib Size:
FPrice:
$149.99New Old Stock! Stickered in the original box! Check out our Sheaffer Tuckaway pen and pencil set. Untouched since the 1940s, the fountain pen and pencil are pristine. Check out the pure, factory-fresh yellow-green ink viewing window. The only thing we did to the vintage pen is install a new ink sac and O-ring, in the off chance you want to write with the fountain pen. The pencil is likewise in perfect working order. The original instructions are under the pad. The short pocket clip's outer shell feels a little loose, but the main anchor of the clip is strong. The box has some schmutz on the back and on some of the edges, but the box remains whole and in good structural condition.
