Pencil: 4769 Parker 51 Demi
Era: 1950-1959
Price: $59.99
Pencil: 4769: Parker: 51 Demi
You might think this Parker 51 Demi pencil looks black in the photo, but it is really a deep burgundy. It is difficult to see the difference until you set it next to a black pen or pencil. It has an early click-cap lead advance and comes loaded with a .9mm lead. The barrel is nice and clean, but the gold-filled cap has little specks in it that we couldn't quite polish out. An original, mostly hardened, eraser is under the tail cap. 12cm.

Vintage Pens: 4770: Waterman: 56
Vintage Waterman pens are highly desirable to begin with, but when you add decorative gold-plated trim and a factory oblique nib from the 1920s, there is so much more to love. Our vintage pen is a Waterman 56 that is fully restored with a new ink sac. It was reblackened by its previous owner, and it looks almost new out of the factory. No cracks or scratches. Its 56 still has a little orange left in it. Crisp imprint and chasing. Its pocket clip is marked "18k Filled Clip-Cap." It also sports a unique secondary imprint: "National / Live Stock Producer." You will write with some nice bounce on its 14k gold OBLIQUE nib. The nib has a crisp edge for specialized writing and might take a little getting used to, if you do not normally use oblique nibs. 14cm capped.

Montblanc teamed with designer Marc Newsome to fight AIDS by creating this special edition fountain pen. This pre-owned luxury pen in a bold red looks nothing like a traditional Mont Blanc. Designed to raise AIDS awareness, it also raised money to fight the disease by having a portion of the original sale go to organizations researching the disease. One of the most unique and fun aspects of the pen is its magnetic cap closure. This pen was likely used only once or twice and is in near mint condition. It is guaranteed authentic and comes with all of its original boxes and papers. You will write a fine line with a little feedback with its 14k gold nib. 14cm capped.

Vintage Pens: 4764 Parker 61 Flighter
Filling Mechanism: Capillary
Era: 1960-1979   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $199.99
Vintage Pens: 4764: Parker: 61 Flighter
In 1957, Parker released the last truly brilliant new filling mechanism before cartridge/converters took over the scene. Its revolutionary Parker 61 came with a capillary filler. Simple and ingenius, all you have to do is dip the Teflon-coated tail of the filler in ink. Capillary action sucks ink up into the pen. These pens were made during a time when very few people ever changed their ink colors. As such, this is a great pen for using the same color all of the time. It is difficult to flush and change colors easily. All the same, this vintage pen's 14k gold nib writes a beautifully smooth fine line. No dents or cracks in the steel Flighter design but it was a daily user with the light to moderate wear you'd expect. Its plastic hood, has a scar where the cap closes against it. Flighters were one of the rarer designs, and this is still a great pen. 13.5cm capped.
Pencil: 4741 Parker 21 Deluxe
Era: 1950-1959
Price: $19.99
Pencil: 4741: Parker: 21 Deluxe
Upgrade your vintage pencil game with a Parker 21 Deluxe. This black pencil has a unique cap that looks as if it might be plated in silver, though it is not marked as such. Either way, it stands out with pin striping and a gold-plated clip. Although it does not have its sticker, we think it is new old stock. It has what looks like a new eraser that has hardened under the cap and spare .9mm leads under it. Minimal wear. Advance and retract the leads with a twist of the tail cap. 12.7cm.
