Pre-Owned Pens: 2530 Curtis Streamlined
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $199.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2530: Curtis: Streamlined
Australia's pre-eminent luxury pen maker is here! Our Curtis Streamlined looks stunning with its red marbled cap and barrel and sterling silver trim. The red celluloid looks like the shimmering layers of a freshly licked lollipop. There's a nice width to the pen that isn't oversized but wide enough to help prevent cramping from long writing sessions. There are only light traces of wear that can only be seen on very close inspection. The Parker-style ballpoint refill works, extending and retracting with a twist of the tail cap. 13.6cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2650 Namiki Pilot Vanishing Point
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $249.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2650: Namiki Pilot: Vanishing Point
Almost New Old Stock, this is a prized mustard yellow Pilot Vanishing Point fountain pen. It comes complete with its box and papers. It looks as if someone engaged the cartridge it came with, and that is all the ink it has seen. We flushed it with a sonic cleaning. The only think missing is the converter, but it does have that little metal cartridge cover. The gold nib is marked fine, but it writes like an extra-fine razor blade. 14cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2479 Cross Verve
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $49.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2479: Cross: Verve
Cross Verves were bold, futuristic pens that just never caught fire with the public when they first came out. Now they are edging closer to the more collectible side of life. This is a very gently used Verve ballpoint. Its wide grip makes it easier to write all day. The slightly textured, deep-blue metal finish keeps it from being slippery. It comes with a working blue refill, but we don't know how much ink remains. 14.5cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2510 Cross Townsend
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2510: Cross: Townsend
A barley guilloche pattern gives the look of texture under the smooth lacquered coppery-brown "anthracite" finish of this Cross Townsend ballpoint pen. In excellent condition, there are minimal traces of wear. The black refill works well by twisting the tail cap. A great flagship pen from the famed American penmaker. 14.6cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2745 Mont Blanc Starwalker
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $299.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2745: Mont Blanc: Starwalker
We always thought the designer of the Mont Blanc Starwalker Mystery Black pen must have loved "Donkey Kong" or "Pitfall," as a kid playing the Atari. Part of the design includes what look to us like the little ladders in the video games. With platinum trim, this preowned luxury pen is still very attractive. We include a new refill but NOT the macro filters for a camera also seen holding up the cap in the photo. There are a few thin scratches on the platinum trim, but otherwise this pen looks great. Guaranteed authentic with its serial number and "Pix" under the clip. Clip is on tightly. 14cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2628 Waterman LeMan
Filling Mechanism: Pencil
Era: 1980-present
Price: $49.99  Was: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2628: Waterman: LeMan
One of the most successful models of the 1990s was the Waterman LeMan line of writing instruments. Bold, elegant and authoritative, these items are still in demand. This Waterman LeMan is the first pencil of the line that we've seen in real life. Sporting only light wear, it writes with .5mm leads that you advance with a twist-click of the back cap. It comes preloaded with spare leads and a hardening, partially used erase. 14.4cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2620 Pelikan Souveran
Filling Mechanism: Pencil
Era: 1980-present
Price: $99.99
SOLD!
Pre-Owned Pens: 2620: Pelikan: Souveran
Pelikan Souveran writing instruments are some of the best in the world. This larger luxury pencil (600 size) is no exception. It works perfectly and has only light traces of wear. The tail cap twists to click-advance a .5mm lead. Under the tail cap is a used but still fresh eraser. The pencil is loaded with spare leads. We like the fact this pen is old enough to list its country of origin as "W. Germany." On the topper is a golden logo of a mother pelican with two babies. Its only real "flaw" seems to be that the cap feels as if it jiggles a little, even though it is on very securely. 14.1cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2624 Parker Duofold
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2624: Parker: Duofold
If you love the old Parker Duofold look but refuse to write with fountain pens, you'll love the modern, vintage-looking Parker Duofold ballpoint. Truly fashioned from the vintage Duofold pencils, this ballpoint pen has only light wear from use and writes beautifully with a working refill. (No idea how much ink remains.) It takes Parker-style refills, unsurprisingly. The ballpoint extends and retracts with a twist of the blind cap in the tail. The Duofold topper has the world "Duofold" and the English Duofold spade logo. 13.1cm.
