Pre-Owned Pens: 4552: Waterman: Expert I
Waterman really started coming back from the brink in the 1980s. One of their most popular pens since the late 1980s is the Waterman Expert. We are excited to showcase this specific Waterman Expert I. It is the very first generation of the Waterman Expert line. The most distinguishable part about the pen that we love is its angular, two-tone, somewhat-inlaid nib. You will write a smooth fine line with it, but its "look" is just captivating. Unlike later model Experts, these pens are made of plastic...not brass. Somebody loved this pen and used it daily. There's some mostly light wear to prove it. Fill it with either standard international cartridges or converters, though it comes with neither. 14.2cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4547 Namiki Pilot Vanishing Point
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: B
Price: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4547: Namiki Pilot: Vanishing Point
Clicking a fountain pen is a novelty that never grows old. We love these innovative Pilot Vanishing Point pens. Our brick red model was well loved and shows some wear, but it also sports a rare Broad nib in 18k yellow gold. As a Japanese broad, it likely is more like an American medium. Regardless, it is a buttery smooth writer. Plus, this preowned pen comes with its converter, though you can also use proprietary cartridges. 14cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4543 Namiki Pilot Vanishing Point
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4543: Namiki Pilot: Vanishing Point
Smoothness in a Japanese nib almost goes without saying, and we love the way this Pilot Vanishing point writes a smooth medium line. We are still in love with the idea of a click fountain pen. Its clicker is in good working order. Surprisingly, you will see a silvery plated (rhodium? palladium?) 18k gold nib on this blue and yellow-gold trim pen. The nib is actually stamped "B" for broad, but Japanese broad nibs are usually a size under what is advertised, if you are more familiar with American and Germany nibs. The pen was heavily used and does show some wear but nothing egregious. It comes with a converter but also uses proprietary Pilot cartridges. 14cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4426 Visconti Van Gogh Portrait Blu
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $125.00
SOLD!
Pre-Owned Pens: 4426: Visconti: Van Gogh Portrait Blu
If you like the color palette of Vincent Van Gogh's self portraits, you will love the Visconti Van Gogh Portrait Blu fountain pen. It isn't difficult to see where it gets its inspiration. It is a handsome pen with one cosmetic problem. There's a straight hairline crick running back about an inch from where the barrel threads to the section. As the barrel has a metal threads insert, we think there will be minimal pressure on the crack. The rest of the pen looks perfect, and it is very easy to miss the crack. You will write a medium line with a little feedback from its steel nib. Fill the pen with standard international cartridges or converters. Unfortunately, it comes with neither. Nice magnetic cap closure. 14cm capped.

Beauty got redefined when Vincent Van Gogh created his stunning and unique sunflower portraits. Visconti Van Gogh Sunflower pens bring that bright beauty to your desk. We love this very attractive modern preowned fountain pen. Minimal wear blemishes this pen. Its steel nib is firm but writes a medium line. These pens fill with a standard international converter or cartridges. Unfortunately, it comes with neither. The cap has a nice magnetic closure. 14cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 4422: Visconti: Van Gogh’s Shoes
Foot fetishists, art lovers and fountain pen users can all find something to love in this Visconti Van Gogh "Van Gogh's Shoes" luxury pen. Pre-owned pens are rarely this scratch-free. Its cap and barrel look great, no visible wear. The Visconti clip is spring-loaded and has a couple little marks. Magnets close the cap to the pen with a solid click. Its steel nib is marked medium, but it writes closer to a fine line. You'll enjoy the smooth writing experience. Fill the pen with a standard international converter or cartridges, but it doesn't come with either. 13.9cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4420 Visconti Rembrandt Special Ops
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $149.99
SOLD!
Pre-Owned Pens: 4420: Visconti: Rembrandt Special Ops
When we think of the great Dutch master painter Rembrandt, we think of military special operations. While he is best known as a 17th century painter, he was also a specially trained paratrooper, sniper and explosives expert with more than 50 kills to his credit. That is why Visconti maded the Rembrandt Special Ops fountain pen. LOL. At least that is why we like to think Visconti made the Rembrandt Special Ops...even if planes and parachutes weren't, yet, invented. Either way, this is a great preowned fountain pen in dark green with black-metal trim. You'll write a smooth medium line with its steel nib. Minimal, if any, wear. It uses a standard international converter or cartridge but comes with neither. Nice magnetic closure. 14.1cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 4485: Sailor: King of Pens
We aren't often visited by royalty, but the Sailor King of Pens is with us! Regally oversized, it is an ebonite-and-rhodium trim dream come true. For as large as it is, it doesn't feel as clunky as a Pelikan 1000 or Montblanc 149. If satin and butter had a baby, that is how smooth this 21k gold nib is! It is just about the smoothest medium nib we've ever tested. Included with the pen is its converter. However, it also takes Sailor cartridges. This pen was used, and you can see light wear in places. Did we mention how smooth it is? 15.5cm capped.
