Pre-Owned Pens: 3863 Acme Laurinda Spear
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $49.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 3863: Acme: Laurinda Spear
Laurinda Spear has been a cutting-edge architect for all of her career. Fusing modern art and design into both exteriors and interiors, she has become world renowned. Later in her career she also incorporated landscaping as an integral part of her designs. This pen by Acme pays tribute to her vision. Black writing on a white cap and barrel repeats the phrase "The pen is mightier than the sword." You'll notice wear on the pen, especially around the section grip. Click the headline for a close-up, and you'll see the top of the nib is a little pitted, but the writing surface is great for a steel nib. It writes a smooth medium line, but it tends to do it with a little noise and drag. It uses standard international cartridges and possibly converters, but we haven't one for this pen. 13.3cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 3704 Waterman LeMan Opera
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: SF
Price: $299.99
SOLD!
Pre-Owned Pens: 3704: Waterman: LeMan Opera
What distinguishes this Waterman LeMan Opera from so many others is its semi-flex nib! It is a soft 18k gold, so don't over do it or you'll spring the nib, but it currently writes a fine line with just enough flex to make it to 1mm if you want it to. The cap and barrel are nearly mint condition, but the tail rings have some brassing. This pen is missing its standard international converter and it also can use standard international cartridges. A great deal on a preowned luxury pen. 14.4cm capped.

Textured perfection is the only way we know how to describe the sterling silver cap and barrel of our Waterman Gentleman fountain pen in the "Barleycorn" design. It is exquisite with almost no trace of wear. In mint condition. Its 18k gold nib writes a smooth, wet medium line. You will also find an included Waterman standard international converter inside the barrel. It also takes like cartridges. 14cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2624 Parker Duofold
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2624: Parker: Duofold
We always thought it was genius to have used the classic pencil design of the original Parker Duofolds to adapt it to a ballpoint pen such as this one. Our pen looks like it is in nearly mint condition...except for a pinhead sized chip on the back of the pen where the black barrel meets the golden topper. I doubt most people would even notice it, but it is there. A working blue refill extends and retracts with a twist of the tail filler. The top of the topper has the spade design. 13.1cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 3428 Mont Blanc Leonard Bernstein
Filling Mechanism: Piston Filler
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $799.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 3428: Mont Blanc: Leonard Bernstein
One of the greatest musical geniuses of the 20th century was Leonard Bernstein. He bridged the gap between classical and popular music, writing some of the most poignant and popular musicals of his time, including "West Side Story." Montblanc paid tribute to him with one of its "donation series" pens. Look closely at its cap band and you see a bit of the music and lyrics to the song "Maria." The tail band includes the phrase "Philharmonia of the Nations." Although you can see the nib sticker still on the barrel, our Montblanc Leonard Bernstein has been engraved with the name "Karin Patrzyk" and it has been used. Only light wear, and the piston filler works well. Its 18k gold nib writes a smooth medium line. Just FYI, most donation pens do not have serial numbers or L.E. numbering. 14.5cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 4060: Parker: Ballpoint Clicker
A rose by any other name would be just as sweet. That goes for pens, too, which is to say we have no idea what the model name is for this Parker ballpoint pen. It has a nice brushed steel barrel that looks mostly grey with a hint of brown or yellow to give it a more sandy color in some light. Looks to be new old stock. You get the box, pen and papers. There's even an extra ballpoint refill under the pad. The pen come preloaded with a working black ballpoint refill. 13.7cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 3635 Waterman Liason
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $125.00

Pre-Owned Pens: 3635: Waterman: Liason
Elegance is what defines the Waterman Liason rollerball pen. Gleaming black with golden band looks nothing less than distinguished. We like the unique look of the stylized Waterman clip, too. Clever, too, is the way the refill is exchanged. You unscrew a blind cap in the tail to unscrew to writing point of the pen to change out the refill. We will include a new Waterman refill with this pen. Very close to mint condition, this pen looks fabulous. 14.2cm capped.

If you love the classic styling of the Roaring Twenties, but you prefer the modern convenience of a ballpoint pen, you will love the Waterman LeMan Opera. It looks like the classic chasing on black hard rubber, but it is a modern pen made of more stable modern materials. Twist the tail cap to advance and retract the working black Waterman refill. The pen has a nice width and weight for writing all day. Very stable and smooth. Minimal, if any, wear. 14.1cm.
