Pre-Owned Pens: 4420 Visconti Rembrandt Special Ops
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $149.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4420: Visconti: Rembrandt Special Ops
When we think of the great Dutch master painter Rembrandt, we think of military special operations. While he is best known as a 17th century painter, he was also a specially trained paratrooper, sniper and explosives expert with more than 50 kills to his credit. That is why Visconti maded the Rembrandt Special Ops fountain pen. LOL. At least that is why we like to think Visconti made the Rembrandt Special Ops...even if planes and parachutes weren't, yet, invented. Either way, this is a great preowned fountain pen in dark green with black-metal trim. You'll write a smooth medium line with its steel nib. Minimal, if any, wear. It uses a standard international converter or cartridge but comes with neither. Nice magnetic closure. 14.1cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 4485: Sailor: King of Pens
We aren't often visited by royalty, but the Sailor King of Pens is with us! Regally oversized, it is an ebonite-and-rhodium trim dream come true. For as large as it is, it doesn't feel as clunky as a Pelikan 1000 or Montblanc 149. If satin and butter had a baby, that is how smooth this 21k gold nib is! It is just about the smoothest medium nib we've ever tested. Included with the pen is its converter. However, it also takes Sailor cartridges. This pen was used, and you can see light wear in places. Did we mention how smooth it is? 15.5cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 4477: Pelikan: 205 Star Ruby
Sparkly red looks great on our traditionally somber Pelikan fountain pen. This is the 205 model. {Not a common configuration.) The "5" in the model number means it has reverse trim. It is in great working order, but if you look hard enough then you'll see it was a daily user with a couple scratches and scuffs in addition to the usual light wear. Its steel nib writes a very smooth broad line, although we think of it as more of a medium. Click the headline for a close-up. The two-tone leather Pelikan Pen case comes with the pen. Pen measures 12.5cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4483 Diplomat Aero
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $125.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 4483: Diplomat: Aero
In Germany's crowded field of amazing luxury pens, Diplomat often gets overlooked. This is unfortunate, as our Diplomat Aero demonstrates. Even with a steel nib, it is a very smooth writing experience with a juicy medium nib. We were actually a little surprised by how nicely it wrote. The pen itself is made of anodized aluminum for a sturdy, light-weight fountain pen. It fills with standard international cartridges or converters. Its original converter is included. Plus, we just love that it is purple. There are so few really nice purple fountain pens out in the world. 14cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4434 Parker Urban Ingenuity
Filling Mechanism: Marker
Era: 1980-present
Price: $20.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 4434: Parker: Urban Ingenuity
Our favorite part about the Parker Pen Co. is that it never stops trying to innovate filling systems. This Parker Urban Ingenuity pen showcases the "5th Generation" refill. The pen looks as if it is a fountain pen, but it really is a small-tipped marker refill! This pearl white looks like it is in excellent condition, with the exception of a lot of little black speckles on the finish. Click the headline, and you can see quite a few of the speckles. We include a new refill with the pen. 13.8cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4404 Mont Blanc Alexandre Dumas Writers Series
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $599.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4404: Mont Blanc: Alexandre Dumas Writers Series
There's such a wonderful sensation owning the mistake of a major luxury brand known for perfection. Yet, here's the famed Montblanc Writer's Series ballpoint pen version of the Alexandre Dumas model. First released in 1996 with the wrong autograph on the pen, these original "mistake" pens have become the most sought after of the Writer's Series line. This is the son's signature: Alexandre Dumas (fils). This Dumas was famous for the novel "Camille." Yet, the pen is dedicated to his more famous father who gave us "The Three Musketeers," "The Count of Monte Cristo," "The Corsican Brothers" and oh so many more. Our pen is like-new with its original boxes and papers.

Brighten up your desk or office by writing with this Parker Urban ballpoint pen and pencil set. We think it is new old stock. There does not appear to be any wear of any kind. The ballpoint comes loaded with a black Parker gel refill that looks full. The pencil comes preloaded with .5mm lead. The coolest part about the pencil is that the eraser is retractable! Pull out the clicker bit, and twist the bottom of the black insert under that bit to advance and retract a new, white eraser through the top of the clicker!
Pre-Owned Pens: 4413 Monte Verde Limited Edition Mega Inkball

Era: 1980-present
Price: $125.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 4413: Monte Verde: Limited Edition Mega Inkball
Pen refill fanatics will love the innovation of the Monteverde Mega Inkball pen. It writes like a conventional rollerball pen, but it fills like a fountain pen! These came out in the early 2000s and they were ingenius. Just dip the tip in an inkwell and fill with a standard international converter. Or you could use like cartridges! Our set is gently used and comes with its original spare rollerball points, a spare black cap to contrast against the yellow barrel, a converter, booklet, boxes and a still-sealed bottle of ink!
