Pre-Owned Pens

The rebirth of the Parker Duofold in the late 1980s as a modern pen with a vintage look was absolute genius on the part of Parker. We especially love that they adapted the vintage pencil look for the modern ballpoint pen. Many colors have been made for the newest Duofold line in the past 35 years. However, one of the rarer, and more collectible, colors is this jade green. Only made for a short while, it wasn't very popular with customers at the time. Now, however, it is a special treat for modern Duofold collectors. Our preowned pen show a little wear from use. There is a 1mm hairline crack in celluloid near the pocket clip and a tiny chip missing not far from it where the celluloid meets the metal topper. The twist mechanism works smoothly. We just installed a new blue-gel refill. 13.1cm capped.

Stately luxury is the theme of this Cartier Gordon fountain pen. Plated in palladium and gold there is a dash of art deco design. A preowned pen, close inspection shows lots of light wear from use but no dents or deep scratches. You will write a nice, fine-medium line with its two-tone 18k gold nib. There is a hint of feedback, but it isn't bad. Our pen comes with a working standard international converter, but it isn't the original Cartier converter. A little heftier than most pens, it measures 14.2cm capped.

There's nothing like a little scandal to get a pen collector's heart aflutter. This ballpoint version of the Writer's Series Montblanc Alexandre Dumas has the wrong autograph! A mistake at the factory Alexandre's son's autograph on the pen. Given they had the same name, it was an honest mistake. Nevertheless, Montblanc recalled these pens to be replaced with the correct signature. This one, clearly, never got back into Montblanc's hands. It is in great shape, too, with only light wear from use. Twist the tail cap to extend or retract the ballpoint refill. Our refill works and writes a nice blue line. Write like an Egyptian. Que the Bangles' hit song. Limited editions are not exactly commonplace in the world of Cross pens. This Cross Townsend is particularly special because it sports a lapis lazuli finish made from the same lapis mines used by the Pharaohs of ancient Egypt. Our preowned luxury pen is in excellent condition. Under a bright light upon very close examination, you can find two scuffs to its finish. HOWEVER, you have to look really, really hard. Otherwise, they are very easy to miss. There is a tiny bit of the metal nose cone's edging that has been eaten away at the very tip, too. Germany is a tough market for luxury pens, and it is a shame that Faber-Castell often gets overlooked. This is their Graf von Faber Castell fountain pen. Sterling silver plates its cap, section and tail end. Pernambuco wood handsomely furnishes the barrel. Its two-tone 18k gold nib writes a smooth medium line. However, we think it will write even better after you've used it for a little while. On our brief testing, it had the occasional hard start and random hint of feedback. Yet, the longer we wrote with it, the more these ticks in its behavior went away. No dents or scratches. Includes a standard international converter. 13.7cm capped.

Splashing blue and violet flakes that capture the light at all angles against a black background, the Namiki Custom Impression fountain pen is a real looker. Namiki calls this the "Medley" design, and it certainly plays on our hearts. Our preowned pen is in like-new condition. Better yet, you will write a buttery smooth broad line with its remarkable 14k gold nib! Not only is this preowned luxury pen a stunning, sleek black writing instrument, it has a superb 18k gold nib. You will write a buttery smooth broad line. Also perfect for signing ceremonies, as well as collecting. Only the lightest of wear from use is visible on the pen. You fill it with a piston that is activated by a "blind" tail cap. Celebrate the holy city of Jerusalem with this stunning Omas Jerusalem 3000 rollerball pen. The city's walls and skyline are the centerpiece of the incredible sterling silver relief work spiraling up and down the cap and barrel. We polished this handsome Italian-made pen and didn't see any significant wear. We also gave it a brand new blue Schmidt P8126 refill, which you can find easily at any office supply store. Unscrew the blind cap in the tail of the pen to switch out refills. There is a tiny "M" imprint on the silver nose cone of the pen, in case that means anything to die-hard Omas collectors. The artistry and heft of the silver gives this preowned luxury pen additional gravitas. 14cm capped.
