One of only 3,000 fountain pens, our gently used Montblanc Gandhi is part of the Great Characters series. As it hasn't its original box and papers, we had it authenticated by Montblanc to guarantee that it is genuine. Numbered 1007 of 3000, this mighty pen pays tribute to India's political and spiritual leader Mahatma Gandhi. The sterling silver ends of the pen represent Gandhi's spinning cotton into thread. The piston filler turns smoothly. You will write a very smooth medium line with the rhodium-plated 18k gold nib. Includes the letter of authentication. Light wear from use. The designers in Japan sure captured the elegance and beauty of a vintage black-and-pearl design. This preowned luxury pen is a real stunner. It was only lightly used and still looks close to new. It has a little feedback, but it is the good kind that really lets you feel the point on the page. 13.6cm capped.

In 1987 modern Parker struck gold with its Parker Duofold Centennial pen line to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Parker Pen Company in 1988. In many respects, this pen revitalized the company as a luxury brand. Plus, by basing the new design on vintage Parker Duofolds, it was the perfect touchstone for vintage and modern pen collectors. This marble blue pen is a Parker Duofold Centennial MKI. It likely isn't the 1988 model, as only 50 were made and given to notable individuals. However, it was a very early one as evidenced by its short pocket clip and 18k gold nib markings on the nib. Under the nib is an 83 on the feed, which means this was a medium nib. Many people go ga-ga for the stunning Omas Arco designs, but the blue-and-orange "Saffron" design really blows our mind. This is the large Omas Paragon at 14.1cm in length while capped. It is in good working order, with a smooth piston fill. It does have some wear from use but no cracks, brassing or deep scratches. Also included are its original boxes and papers. Beyond the stunning celluloid is a delightfully smooth two-tone 18k gold nib that writes a juicy medium line. This one sports the year 1997 on the section. Click the headline for close-ups.

Feast your eyes on the Stipula I Castoni Lapis fountain pen. We believe this to be a New Old Stock pen. We dipped the nib in water, and no ink came off it. The converter is still in its little baggie with a standard international ink cartridge. The pen comes with its original boxes and papers. Silver-plated trim and this stunning blue acrylic are very attractive. You can see spots of purple like clouds at sunset mixed in with the blue. Click the headline for close-ups. Its two-toned 18k gold nib is marked fine, but we haven't dipped it, in case this is New Old Stock. No cracks or scratches. However, there are two odd small ovals imprinted into the cap. They seem more like a manufacturing defect than wear to this otherwise pristine pen. 13.8cm capped.

Blue-pen lovers that we are, we think there is no topping the Pelikan City Series Stockholm pens for looks. It is easily the most attractive of the "cities." Ours is in excellent working worker, showing only minimal wear from use...and some scratches on the piston filler knob and the section grip. We find it rather amusing that it comes in the "Grand Place" city series pen's box. It is the right size and shape box for the Stockholm, just the wrong labels on the box. Located on the top of the cap's black "jewel" is a frosted gold logo of a mama pelican and two chicks. 13.1cm capped.

Celebrating Italy's hosting of the 1990 World Cup soccer tournament, the green of this modern classic luxury pen symbolizes the color of the soccer pitch. There is a checkerboard design to the usual gold-plated cap band. Our preowned luxury pen comes with all of its original boxes and papers. Gently used, it shows only minor wear. Very minor wear. Parker was rather genius for resurrecting its classic Duofold design for a modern luxury pen. Our Parker Duofold Centennial in burgundy is a handsome classic. We love the way the sparkly acrylic burgundy undulates under a light as your rotate the cap or barrel. Our pre-owned luxury pen comes with its original box and papers.
