Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $399.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5594: Cartier: Diabolo
Nothing says luxury like Cartier. Yes, the famed jeweler has an exquisite line of pens. This is the Cartier Diabolo. Elegant and dazzling with an old-world flair, we especially like the blue topper. You might be more impressed with its very smooth, two-tone 18k gold nib sporting a medium point. Aside from a mark of impact on the barrel, just below the cap, this pen looks nearly perfect. No cracks, scratches or other wear. It takes standard international cartridges or converters but is missing its original converter. We included a generic replacement converter. Also includes its box, papers and 2 (mostly dried out) original cartridges that came with the pen. Click the headline for close-ups. 14.2cm capped.

We include a new black refill with this pen. You might see a little light wear if you look hard enough, but no one will notice it at arm's length. 14.2cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5592 Montegrappa 2-Pen Pouch
Era: 1980-present
Price: $49.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5592: Montegrappa: 2-Pen Pouch
Leather craftsmen (or women) created this dignified 2-pen pouch in Italy. The front and back of the case are firm, while the sides have a little give. Saving wear and tear on the closure is a magnet instead of the leather loops, most cases have. It can easily fit 2 fairly large pens around the size of a Montblanc 146...maybe even a 149, though that might be pushing it. It comes with its original box. There are a couple scratches or marks on the back side's leather.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5588 Armando Simoni Club Studio
Filling Mechanism: Piston Filler
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: B
Price: $149.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5588: Armando Simoni Club: Studio
When the original Omas went belly up a few years ago, one bright entrepreneur bought up most, if not all, of the company's famed celluloid rod stock. He then created a new brand called the Armando Simoni Club. Armando Simoni was the founder of the original Omas pen company in Italy, and "The Club" made new pens out of the remains of the old company's leftovers. This pen is the Armando Simoni Club Studio in Pinnacle Yellow. It appears to be New Old Stock and never previously filled. The piston filler works well and shows no trace of ink. Click the headline to see the golden alloy nib. It is marked B for broad but looks like a medium to us. We did not dip it, as we didn't want to tarnish its NOS sensibilities. Complete with box and pouch. 14.5cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5587 Pineider Back to the Future
Filling Mechanism: Piston Filler
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: Stub
Price: $699.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5587: Pineider: Back to the Future
Pineider is another of the great Italian pen makers that we don't feature often enough. Our preowned luxury pen is in mint condition. It is the limited edition Pineider Back to the Future. Numbered 76 of 949, this isn't the Marty McFly "Back to the Future" you might be thinking of. This special edition focuses on Italy in the year 1949, as the nation emerged from the destruction of World War II--a time of rebuilding, it was leading the way in fashion, art and culture. The futuristic design of the pen is based on the concept of an Egyptian reed stylus made of modern carbographite. You fill the pen with a piston. It writes with a stunning 1.3mm stub nib made of 14k gold. Also included are its original box and a handsome coffee table back by designer and film director Pier Luigi Pizzi as he looks back on that golden age. The photos are lush and classic. However, the text of the book is in Italian. Click the headline for a close-up of the nib. Pen 14.7cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5584 Ranga Blue-and-Tan Fantasy
Filling Mechanism: Eyedropper
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: SF
Price: $99.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5584: Ranga: Blue-and-Tan Fantasy
We search far and wide for all the latest and greatest pens. Today we are very excited to showcase a gigantic pen from India's Ranga Pen Company. We don't know the model name, but we do know that it is made from a fantastic blue-and-tan hard rubber. Like a really old vintage pen, you fill this with an eyedropper. It can definitely hold a lot of ink. As a special treat, it comes preloaded with a two-tone steel "FPR Flex" nib. FPR stands for Fountain Pen Revolution. While it has flex, we consider it more of a semi-flex than a wet-noodle flex. Nevertheless, you will write from about a medium to more than 1mm wide! This pen looks brand new to us. 15cm capped.

Price: $299.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5543: Montegrappa: Nerouno Duetto

This preowned luxury pen comes with its original boxes and booklet. Its 18k gold nib has a really unique pattern and is marked M for a medium point. Click the headline for a close-up. A great pen design from one of Italy's very best pen makers. 14cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5548 Sailor 1911
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: B
Price: $199.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5548: Sailor: 1911
Fans of Sailor pens know that ZOOM nibs are a special treat, and we are happy to report that this standard-size Sailor 1911 has a Zoom nib! For the uninitiated, the Zoom nib is a 14k gold broad nib. In the world of Japanese nibs, it might be considered a double or triple broad. For American and European nib enthusiasts, we dipped it and it looks mostly like a regular broad nib. Regardless, aside from a scuff on the pocket clip, this pen looks like new. It also comes complete with its original boxes and converter. 13.6cm capped.
