Pre-Owned Pens: 2884 Levenger Fountain Pen
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $29.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2884: Levenger: Fountain Pen
Levenger seems to have "sampled" the general design of the Montblanc Classique 144 for this fountain pen design. Unlike any MB, this pen has a wooden barrel and a pewter-colored metal cap. Its irridium nib writes a nice, wet medium-to-broad line. It comes with a standard international converter and can use like cartridges. We don't think this pen saw much, if any, use. A couple light, little marks on the cap. Ideal for a daily user or getting a new collector started. 14.1cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2878 Lamy Safari
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $19.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2878: Lamy: Safari
Introduce a young writer to the joys of fountain pens with a Lamy Safari. The preformed grip will help teach them how to hold the pen, and the plastic cap and barrel are about as indestructible as a fountain pen can get. Ours comes with a fine-point steel nib that writes a reasonably but not perfectly smooth fine line. It comes with a free cartridge but we also sell Lamy converters and boxes of cartridges. 13.9cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2877 Lamy AL-Star
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $9.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2877: Lamy: AL-Star
When we sold cars, this color was called "champagne." We aren't sure if that is what Lamy calls this AL-Star, but it works for us. It clicks the proprietary ballpoint refill forward and back. Only light hints of wear. In otherwise excellent condition, and the refill still works...writing with black ink. 13.8cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2875 Lamy Swift
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $29.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2875: Lamy: Swift
Among people's favorite features of the Lamy Swift is that its clip closes flush into the pen when the ballpoint refill is clicked and extended...thus preventing you from making a mess by putting it in your shirt pocket while the refill is extended. The red-and-black design is stricking and modern. Works great. We'll include a free new refill. 14.5cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2871 Lamy AL-Star
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $9.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2871: Lamy: AL-Star
Everybody needs a good workhorse pen. Lamy AL-Star pens are perfect for the job. Modern, stylish, made of mostly aluminum, these pens can withstand a great deal of travel and use. Ours features a working black proprietary refill that advances and retreats with just a click of the accordion style tail. Almost no trace of wear. 12.7cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2873 Lamy AL-Star
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $9.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2873: Lamy: AL-Star
Missing an earlier green AL-Star Lamy ballpoint pen? We aren't sure of its official color name, but it is a subdued minty color. It appears to be in like-new condition. It comes with a working blue ink proprietary Lamy ballpoint refill. Clicker is in good shape. 13.2cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2864 Laban Elegant Red & Rose Gold
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $75.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 2864: Laban: Elegant Red & Rose Gold
Red and rose gold make for a very elegant Laban ballpoint pen. We don't know the model name, but it sure looks nice. The twist mechanism works smoothly, and the pen uses a Parker-style refill. This preowned pen comes with a working black refill. Virtually no blemish like scratches or dents...but, if you click the headline and look closely at the right side of the barrel, there is a huge faded black ink stain. We have tried our best to polish this out, but it just won't budge. We missed it the first time we looked at the pen, but now we can't unsee it. The pen writes well with a mid-sized grip and some nice weight to help the refill build momentum and write better. 14cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 1847 Krone Liquid Red Fury
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $2,499.99  Was: $2,999.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 1847: Krone: Liquid Red Fury
Using techniques perfected by Fabregé, Krone made a stunning skeletal structure of sterling silver for its Liquid Red Fury fountain pen. This luxury pen is made from a thick chunk of silver. At its foundation is a precisely engraved guilloché pattern into the silver. It dazzles under a ruby-red enamel. Numbered 80 of 888, it is a work of art that comes with its original box but not papers. The 18k gold nib is marked fine, but it writes more like a medium. Click the headline for a close-up. 14.3cm capped.
