It is no strain writing with this Andromeda pen by Marlen. Stunning teal swirls and a golden brown vein make this one of those pens you can just look at for hours. A sterling silver pocket clip adds a nice accent. Yet, it is that great Italian celluloid that wins our hearts. The Marlen company knows that's what we'd love best, which is why they threaded the tail so you can post the cap as your write without damaging the celluloid! We installed a new rollerball refill. 13.5cm capped.

The return of the Mabie Todd pen company has excited many in the pen collecting community. Its early models reflect an appreciation for the company's history. Pre-Owned Pens: 2927 Libelle Nature Woodgrain
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $75.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 2927: Libelle: Nature Woodgrain
Fashion-forward penmaker Libelle has created a combination of classic and modern with its Libelle Nature Woodgrain fountain pen. A large pen, it features a white-yellow wood with a nice brown grain running through it. Golden trim in Greek keys accentuates the wood nicely. It fills with standard international cartridges and comes with a converter. The pen is in mint condition. Our favorite feature is that the cap also screws on to the tail to prevent it from wearing while posted. It is a heavier pen. The golden metal nib is marked medium and writes really wet, smooth medium line. 14.2cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2942 Marlen Collezione Vite
Filling Mechanism: Key/Slot Filler)
Era: 1980-present
Price: $499.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2942: Marlen: Collezione Vite
Looking to vintage pens for inspiration, the Marlen Collezione Vite fountain pen uses a key or slot filling system. Basically, you need a little key to depress the pressure bar resting against the ink sac. The keyhole is in the brass plate of the pen's barrel. The key is cleverly disguised as the pocket clip! Just unscrew the top of the cap to free it. This pen appears to have never been used outside of a dip or two. The ink sac is in good working order. The 18k gold nib writes a firm medium line with a dash of feedback, particularly on the ascenders of loops. 13cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2884 Levenger Fountain Pen
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $29.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2884: Levenger: Fountain Pen
Levenger seems to have "sampled" the general design of the Montblanc Classique 144 for this fountain pen design. Unlike any MB, this pen has a wooden barrel and a pewter-colored metal cap. Its irridium nib writes a nice, wet medium-to-broad line. It comes with a standard international converter and can use like cartridges. We don't think this pen saw much, if any, use. A couple light, little marks on the cap. Ideal for a daily user or getting a new collector started. 14.1cm capped.
