Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $249.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4294: Aurora: Optima Primavera
Vibrant green and gold will knock your socks off in this set of Aurora Optima Primavera writing instruments. Each is only lightly used sporting minimal wear. Up first is the limited edition rollerball pen numbered 2359. It comes with a working blue refill, though we have no idea how much ink remains. Unscrew the black blind cap on the tail to change the refill. Matching it is the pencil numbered 2069. Twist the tail cap to the side to advance .5mm leads. A couple spare leads are hidden in the pen. Works great. Pen measures 12.6cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4252 Unknown Ballpoint Pen
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $19.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4252: Unknown: Ballpoint Pen
For a no-name pen, this purple and blue ballpoint is a very attractive pen. It looks like a cross between a Waterman and Parker knock-off. It is nicely weighted. Twist the tail cap to advance and retract a working blue Parker-style refill. The pen has some light wear, but the part that might distract you most is that the two bands near the grip are raised for either better traction or annoyance. 13.7cm.

Pre-Owned Pens: 4207 Omas D-Day
Filling Mechanism: Piston Filler
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $299.99  Was: $349.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4207: Omas: D-Day
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of D-Day in 1994, the luxury pen makers of Italy created the Omas D-Day fountain pen. An olive drab barrel and frosted steel cap give the preowned luxury pen a more military bearing. We love its inner aluminum protective case. Its piston filler remains in good working order. Its 18k gold nib writes a soft, smooth medium line. Very little wear is on the pen and cap. The white inset coloring of the "Omas Extra" on the barrel is coming out. The biggest problem is that the grey-leather baggie that stores the pen is pretty badly deteriorating. Everything else looks good. 14cm capped.

Quite easily one of the most gorgeous pens we ever held, we dare you not to be breathless when you first hold the Pelikan Hunting fountain pen. Rarer than the famed Toledo models, this pre-owned luxury pen sports a hunting scene in sterling silver relief. A reindeer, dogs and birds can all be seen in the forest. A forest green celluloid offers excellent contrast to the perfect silver. The whole pen is in perfect condition, and it comes with its original boxes and papers. A treasure, to be sure, but you can also write with its smooth, fine-point nib of 18k gold. The pen size is that of an 800-series fountain pen.

A transluscent blue demonstrator looks like sparkling Mediterranean waters near Greece or Italy. Blue Ocean Pelikan fountain pens are rare and limited to only 5,000 pieces in the world. We are lucky enough to have one gently used one complete with its box and papers. It is an 800-size luxury pen. It has light wear where the cap rubbed against the barrel as it threaded on to the barrel. There also is a stubborn spot of ink that got between the inner cap and outer cap. Otherwise, the pen is perfect with a smooth writing 18k gold medium nib.
