Pre-Owned Pens

Paying tribute to 3,000 years as a city, the Omas Jerusalem 3000 rollerball pen is smooth-writing choice at this particular time of year. Our preowned pen is the basic red model with golden trim. No cracks nor deep scratches...only light wear from use. We replaced its refill with an easily obtained blue Schmidt P8126 capless rollerball refill. All you have to do is unscrew the tail's blind cap to switch it out. Light weight, comfortable writing. 13.3cm capped.

Given the total lack of ink staining any part of this Omas 630 Demo, we think it might be new old stock! No cracks. No deep scratches. Not much, if any, wear. We did not dip its golden alloy nib, as it might be a NOS pen. However, if you click the headline for close-ups, you will see it is marked "F" for fine. Slender. Light weight. We love it when modern pens go for a vintage pen look. To celebrate the company's 100th anniversary, the Montblanc 100 Anniversary pens were designed to look like old-fashioned "safety" pens that were similar to the earliest Mont Blanc pens. This ballpoint pen saw a little use and has some light wear...minor scuffs and shallow scratches. Numbered 24398 of 45000, our preowned pen remains in excellent working order. You get a working blue ballpoint refill loaded in the pen. 12.8cm.

Cross Townsends have to be one of the most unfairly underrated luxury pens on the market today. Amazingly smooth and dependable--plus they have the classic look of a fountain pen. This Cross Townsend is especially special as a limited edition made with real jade. Although we do not have the original box and papers, it does not appear to have been inked. When we filled it with water to test it, the water was clean. Click the headline for close-ups. You will see its two-tone 18k gold nib is marked as a fine point. However, in case it is new old stock, we did not try writing with it. 15cm capped.

Montblanc LeGrand "Document Markers" are somewhat hard to find, but ones in the discontinued "Bordeaux" color are even more difficult to find. Aside from a little light wear from use, our preowned luxury writing instrument looks pretty amazing. This one comes with a working highlighter refill. Guaranteed authentic, this one was made after the invention of serial numbers on the pocket clip band but before "Pix" was written under the cap band. We love these slightly larger sized LeGrands that don't yet cross over into oversized territory. 14.5cm capped.

At one point in yesteryear, there was no transnational travel more glamorous than the train route known as the Orient Express. Royalty and celebrity hobnobbed on its cars from Paris to Istanbul over an approximately 3-day run. It was considered "The train of kings and the king of trains." Our S.T. Dupont Orient Express pays tribute to that great locomotive. In like-new condition, we think this pen has only been dipped once or twice. Not a mark appears to have blemished the glittering blue cap and barrel. You'll write a very smooth fine line with its rhodium-plated 18k gold nib. Looking like it just danced out of the souvenir shop in Emerald City from "The Wizard of Oz" is this stunning Technicolor green Bexley Gemstone fountain pen. At least we think the model name is "Gemstone;" we aren't certain. Borrowing a bit from the Waterman 100-Year Pen in design, it is an absolute knock-out. It shows some light wear from past use, but it is generally pretty amazing. Better yet, you'll write a buttery smooth medium line with its two-tone 14k gold nib.
