Pre-Owned Pens: 2414: Aurora: Talentum
Make math, crosswords and sudoku stylish with the Aurora Talentum pencil. It appears to be a .7mm pencil that has barely been used. The eraser is still pretty fresh. Just twist the back cap to advance the lead. Extra refills are under the eraser. Great Italian design in periwinkle. 13.8cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2412 Aurora Alpha Sienese
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $175.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 2412: Aurora: Alpha Sienese
Ever see those old photo portraits of jazz stars where the cigarette smoke was captured so beautifully? That's what the undulating waves of grey celluloid look like to me as they go from pearl grey to a deep rich grey. The silver-colored trim is ideal for its coloring, and the textured nose cone helps provide a little more grip. The Parker-style refill extends and retracts with a twist of the tail cap. It is a little larger than most Aurora ballpoints, and it is a little easier to grip, as a result. The refill works great, but we don't know how much ink remains. 13.6cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2410 Aurora 98
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1960-1979
Price: $49.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2410: Aurora: 98
It appears this sterling silver Aurora 98 ballpoint pen dates back to the 1960s! Technically, we should put it in our vintage pens section, but we wanted to keep it with our Auroras. The refill extends and retracts with a click. This preowned pen only has light scratches and minimal wear. Looks great, especially for its age. The refill writes, but it is an unusual Inox design marked 905. We don't know how much ink is left, nor do we know how easily you'll find a replacement. 13.4cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2409 Aurora Style
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $29.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2409: Aurora: Style
Look exceptionally sharp with this gold-plated Aurora Style ballpoint pen that was designed in Italy. Although it has some light wear, nobody will notice it at arm's length. No dents, dings or deep scratches...just lots of light little scratches. A click ballpoint pen, it uses Parker-style refills, which can be found just about every place. The clicker sticks a little when you screw the barrel on tightly. However, everything works well. 13.7cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2391 Aurora Hastil
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $49.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2391: Aurora: Hastil
A cracked brown leather look is specially lacquered into this very handsome Aurora Hastil ballpoint pen. Twist the tail cap and the telescoping mechanism is engaged, revealing the refill. The refill still works well, although we have no idea how much ink remains. It takes a "912" refill. Minimal wear can be found on the pen. 13.2cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2377 Hero 100
Filling Mechanism: Aerometric Filler
Era: 1980-present
Price: $25.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 2377: Hero: 100
Looks familiar right? Most people might mistake it for a Parker 51 flighter, but it is really a Chinese knock-off called the Hero 100. Nearly perfect, very little wear mars the cap and barrel of brushed steel. The golden steel nib writes a fine line with some feedback. The aerometric-style filler works well. 14cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 1479 LeBoeuf Fountain Pen
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $199.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 1479: LeBoeuf: Fountain Pen
The modern revival of the LeBoeuf brand makes for quality writing and design. Our two-tone LeBoeuf fountain pen dazzles with an opalescent cap jewel. It fills with a threaded international converter, which is included, or international cartridges. This pen is pristine without any dents or dings and minimal traces of wear. The two-tone 18k gold nib is marked a medium. It writes very smoothly. 14cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 2289 Parker Premier
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $275.00  Was: $499.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 2289: Parker: Premier
Topping the company's lineup of pens is the Parker Premier. Dashing, modern and robustly elegant, bushed black steel is what it looks like, but it is really a nickel-palladium base metal with a ceramic finish! Nearly flawless is the best way to describe its condition. It uses Parker cartridges and converters, but it comes with neither. The black arrow nib borrows a little from the classic Parker Vacumatic look. The nib is really marked 18k gold. Click the headline for a close up. It is coated in black ruthenium. It writes a nice fine line. 13.9cm capped.
