Era: 1980-present
Price: $249.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 1243: Pelikan: 200
Score big on this preowned set of Pelikan 200 pens. First, the smokey blue design is breathtaking. These are some of the handsomest designs in the 200 model series. The fountain pen is in excellent working condition. There is some light wear on each of the pens. The gold plating on the steel nib is wearing out, as you can see when you click the headline font. Otherwise, the medium nib writes smoothly. The ballpoint pen is a clicker that has a working refill. Pelikan ballpoint pens use Parker-style refills, but their in-house refills write way better. Pens come in black leather case. FP measures 12.5cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 0795 Allegory 1941
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $125.00  Was: $135.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 0795: Allegory: 1941
They say the pen is mightier than the sword, and this pen is battle proven! The Allegory 1941 bolt-action ballpoint pen reconstitutes the original teak deck of the U.S.S. North Carolina. The North Carolina earned 15 battle stars during her actions in World War II. It has been decommissioned and is undergoing restoration to serve as a museum. The craftsmen at Allegory Pens were able to get some of the original teak decking from the ship to make the beautiful hand-turned barrels of these limited edition ballpoint pens. Each pen is numbered and comes with a brief history of the U.S.S. North Carolina. The Parker-style refill extends with a mechanism that mimics the bolt-action of a rifle. Each pen also has an interchangeable tail end that features a flat metal topper or a digital device navigator, as shown in the photo. As a licensed Allegory Dealer, each of these pens is brand new in its original box. The brass adds nice heft to the pens, which roll as smoothly as a Cadillac. 13.2cm.

Own a functional piece of history when you purchase an Allegory fountain pen. The Precision Collection of fountain pens features a handsome modern design that uses reclaimed wood. The light-colored wood comes from antique maple saved from old, torn down American barns and warehouses. The dark wood is Jakarta, a wood salvaged from Asian shipping crates after making the long voyage across the Pacific. Each pen is hand turned and cleverly designed. The cap stands out as it is magnetized to the front and tail of the pen. The pocket clip is on a hinge that helps protect from heavy pocket use. The nibs are medium-point only, and they write very smoothly with German steel. The pens fill using standard international cartridges or a converter, which is included. The pens are made in the U.S.A., just outside of Chicago. Allegory pens feature the National Forest Foundation seal of approval, and each sale contributes to the company's commitment to planting trees in the U.S. 13.5cm capped.
