Many people today can rightfully argue that S.T. Dupont makes some of the best engineered pens in the world. The smooth interlocking movements, fluid writing and elegant design all blend for an impressive writing instrument. This S.T. Dupont Orpheo is especially unique. It is a ballpoint pen that converts to a pencil. The pencil mechanism is a special insert that can be unscrewed and replaced in seconds with a S.T. Dupont ballpoint refill. This gently used model comes with its pencil insert and a BRAND NEW BALLPOINT refill. It is made of a durable Chinese lacquer. There are only marks of light surface wear on the pen. The clip and clip ring have some little scratches but nothing serious. Gorgeous. 13.8cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 1762 Cross ATX
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present
Price: $39.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 1762: Cross: ATX
Cross still makes great daily user fountain pens. Take the Cross ATX for example. Ours has a durable metal cap and barrel that won't break when dropped (like a Mont Blanc.) It has a smooth-writing, medium steel nib. This pen uses Cross-only cartridges or a screw-in Cross converter. This pen comes with neither, but it is a bargain at more than 50% its original retail price. The bronze-colored, chrome-trimmed cap and barrel sport a record grove design that has no scratches, cracks or dents. We don't think it was used much at all. 13.9cm capped.

Era: 1980-present
Price: $320.00  Was: $399.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 1614: Waterman: Edson
This ruby Waterman Edson ballpoint runs a gorgeous deep blood red. No dents! No cracks! It is in great working condition and comes with its crackling blue leather case, it's white cardboard box with papers and its thinner slip case box! There are no scratches on the incredible ruby-red finish, but the metal components do have lots of tiny little micro scratches. It isn't noticeable until it is right in front of your face, but they are there. You really can't see them at arm's length. The refill is in good working order, but we have no idea how much ink remains. 14.6cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 1613 Waterman Edson
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $320.00  Was: $399.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 1613: Waterman: Edson
One of the top pens of the modern Waterman line is the Waterman Edson. This green ballpoint is a rarer color version. It is in good working order, with a working refill. It comes complete with its aging blue-leather case, papers, outer white box and that box's slip cover box! We tried to capture it in the photo but there is a two very thin scratches near the cap but on the green finish. No one will notice them at arm's length, but the pen isn't quite mint. You can also see a little wear on either side of the cap next to the clip. It is feint but still there. Finally, there is a small dimple dent about a quarter-inch from the top of the cap to the right of the clip. We almost missed it. Still it remains a beautiful pen for use or display! 14.6cm
Pre-Owned Pens: 1659 Pelikan 100-level
Filling Mechanism: Piston Filler
Era: 1980-present
Price: $111.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 1659: Pelikan: 100-level
Pelikan pens are as true as they get these days. This is a Pelikan 100 trim line, but we aren't specifically sure what its model number is. The cap and barrel have scuffs and wear but no cracks. The filler is well lubed and working very smoothly. The platting is coming off the steel nib, which writes a buttery smooth fine line. The top of the cap has the logo in gold with two baby pelicans. In addition to the pen, you a very nice leather case for the pen. The case is decorated with a flowered bit of embroidery. You can see in the photo that the stitching is missing at the far left side. 11.8cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 0984 Waterman Edson
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $399.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 0984: Waterman: Edson
Commanding attention is what the Waterman Edson ballpoint pen does best! It's regal translucent blue barrel and golden twist cap and trim will turn heads, but it is luxury pen's performance that will hold your attention rapt. Its weight and girth are easy to maneuver while gliding the ballpoint ink along the page with a momentum uniquely its own. Waterman is extremely proud of this premier flagship design, and so are we. There is only light wear to the barrel and cap, although some folks might not like the light but obvious scratches to the golden tail cap. These scratches aren't deep, but they plow through the "frosted" gold design. We still think it is an excellent pen. Comes loaded with a working Waterman ballpoint refill. 14.6cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 1243 Pelikan 200
Filling Mechanism: Piston Filler
Era: 1980-present
Price: $249.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 1243: Pelikan: 200
Score big on this preowned set of Pelikan 200 pens. First, the smokey blue design is breathtaking. These are some of the handsomest designs in the 200 model series. The fountain pen is in excellent working condition. There is some light wear on each of the pens. The gold plating on the steel nib is wearing out, as you can see when you click the headline font. Otherwise, the medium nib writes smoothly. The ballpoint pen is a clicker that has a working refill. Pelikan ballpoint pens use Parker-style refills, but their in-house refills write way better. Pens come in black leather case. FP measures 12.5cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 0795: Allegory: 1941
They say the pen is mightier than the sword, and this pen is battle proven! The Allegory 1941 bolt-action ballpoint pen reconstitutes the original teak deck of the U.S.S. North Carolina. The North Carolina earned 15 battle stars during her actions in World War II. It has been decommissioned and is undergoing restoration to serve as a museum. The craftsmen at Allegory Pens were able to get some of the original teak decking from the ship to make the beautiful hand-turned barrels of these limited edition ballpoint pens. Each pen is numbered and comes with a brief history of the U.S.S. North Carolina. The Parker-style refill extends with a mechanism that mimics the bolt-action of a rifle. Each pen also has an interchangeable tail end that features a flat metal topper or a digital device navigator, as shown in the photo. As a licensed Allegory Dealer, each of these pens is brand new in its original box. The brass adds nice heft to the pens, which roll as smoothly as a Cadillac. 13.2cm.
