Vintage Pens: 5274 Sheaffer Autograph
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1930-1939   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $275.00
Vintage Pens: 5274: Sheaffer: Autograph
Getting some movie stars autographs can be easier than finding a Sheaffer Autograph fountain pen that is still free of other people's signatures. Our vintage pen is fully restored with a new ink sac. The pen barrel is a standard oversized Sheaffer Balance with 1000 marked under the standard imprint. However the cap has a pocket clip marked 14k gold and an unmarked but still solid 14k gold extra-wide band! Sheaffer had an engraving service that could reproduce a person's actual signature on the cap band, but this band is free of any engravings. Click the headline for a close-up of the 14k gold nib. It writes an extra-fine line with a little feedback, as most extra-fines do. No cracks, minimal wear. Ambering of the ink-viewing window. 14cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4603 Montegrappa Espressione
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $225.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 4603: Montegrappa: Espressione
The hallmark of any Montegrappa pen is its stunning celluloid. Playing with the light, flakes of blue brilliance flare and fade in the stunning cobalt blue of this Montegrappa Espressione fountain pen. It looks almost new with hardly any trace of use. It comes with a standard international converter and can use like cartridges. You will write more of a fine line with a whisper of feedback, even though the steel nib is marked medium. In addition to the color, we love how the cap screws on to the tail so that we can post the cap without fear of wear or damage. 13.8cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 5266 Sheaffer Demostrator
Filling Mechanism: Snorkel
Era: 1950-1959   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $499.99
Vintage Pens: 5266: Sheaffer: Demostrator
Most demonstrator pens are unique, but none is as exciting to own and watch as the Sheaffer Snorkel Demonstrator. You watch the Rube Goldberg machinations of the brilliantly overcomplicated snorkel filling system in action! Our vintage pen is fully restored, although most people keep these as museum pieces given their rarity and fragility. So far, we've only found one fractal in the pen. It is located in the blind cap. You can tell where this pen was located in its working life by the "Macy's Richmond" imprint on the barrel. Light shop wear is present on the cap and barrel, but this is honestly one of the clearest, cleanest Snorkel Demonstrators we've ever seen. Its 14k gold nib is a smooth medium. 14.2cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5273 Retro 51 Golden
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $19.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5273: Retro 51: Golden
We believe this is an early Retro 51 rollerball pen from before the birth of the popular Tornado line. It has a firm-fitting snap cap, but the cap and barrel spin freely when engaged. It is odd, as they are locked tightly together. This pen is in good cosmetic condition. You fill it with standard rollerball refills, like the ones used by Waterman a many other brands. 14.2cm capped.

New Old Stock pens from yesteryear never seem to get old. Here is a Sheaffer Statesman set that still has its nib sticker! Fully restored to working order, this vintage pen is a fun addition to any collection. Minimal shop wear to the pen, but the pencil saw some light usage at some point. It is loaded with a .9mm lead, and the eraser is partially used...and hardened. You will write a smooth, medium line with its firm "palladium-silver" Triumph nib that is marked M4.

Vintage Pens: 5271: Conklin: 46
Flexi nib times stunningly restored black chased hard rubber equals a masterpiece for use or display. We just adore this Conklin 46. Our fully restored vintage pen has a new ink sac. It looks nearly flawless. There's a black spot on the clip in the photo that is really just the reflection of something black in the background. The only serious flaws with this pen are a kiss of brassing at the top and bottom of the pocket clip. Deep, crisp barrel imprints and chasing imprints on the cap and barrel. You will LOVE its smooth 14k gold nib that flexes from medium to 1.5mm! 13.8cm capped.
