Nobody's perfect. Sometimes we just can't get the blind cap on a Parker 51 to line-up perfectly with the barrel after we replace the diaphragm. This is one such vintage pen. It works well, it is just a little off from what it should be. Plus, you can see dents in the gold-filled cap. Nevertheless, the pen still works well. You will write a medium line with a little feedback. Enjoy a bargain on a classic pen. 13.9cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 4599: Parker: Sonnet
The "Cisele" design has been one of the most famous designs in Parker pens for more than 50 years! It started with sterling silver Parker 75s in the 1960s, and it remains popular to this day in this Parker Sonnet fountain pen. There is something very bold and appealing in the grid design in silver. Our preowned luxury pen is in like-new condition, without any dents or scratches. It comes complete with a Parker converter, and it also uses Parker cartridges. You'll see there is a corporate logo on the pocket clip. You will write a very nice, wet, medium line with its 18k gold nib. There is a touch of feedback. 13.3cm capped.

Being a fountain pen junkie is more than just a writing experience. It is a dipping and filling experience, too! No desk is complete without a proper inkwell. We find it difficult to tell what metal this piece of ephemera is made of, but we think it is copper. It isn't nearly as heavy as a cast iron piece. It has a nice art nouveaux look. Best of all, it comes with its porcelain inner well! Click the headline to see it with the lid open. It is 15cm X 8cm X 7cm. Additional charges might apply for international shipping.

Bargains are found at the confluence of works great but is cosmetically flawed. On a quick glance, this Sheaffer Clipper snorkel pen is a gem, but a closer look shows it likely was owned by some high school kid in the 1950s who etched his initials "RYV" into the barrel. There's a scar in the section, too. Click the headline for close-ups. The great news is that this vintage pen has been fully restored with a new ink sac, point seal and O-ring. Better, yet, its "Triumph" nib made of "palladium silver" writes a wet, smooth medium line. Still great for a daily driver. 14.1cm capped.

We restored this classic TouchDown filling pen from the early, early 1950s with a new ink sac and O-ring. We love the simple pneumatic filling system. The pen has some wear from extensive use. There are no cracks, and it is ready for a new life with you. Its two-tone 14k gold nib writes an extra-fine line with a tiny bit of feedback. Good daily writer, if you are careful with the pocket clip that is a little askew. 13.5cm capped.

Price: $449.99
Vintage Pens: 0813: Conklin: Endura
The 1920s come roaring back to life with this senior sized Conklin Endura fountain pen. This lapis blue wonder looks pretty sharp with a little discolored darkening at the tail and near the section threads. It has no brassing. Plus, you can still most of the orange-red pin stripe painting in the cap and barrel. We restored this with a silicone ink sac to minimize future discoloration. The only trouble is that these ink sacs don't seem to hold the ink as well as the rubber ones do, and it might be a little leakier than normal. However, many might prefer keeping this pen more as a museum piece than daily user. Its 14k gold nib rides the line between fine and extra fine. Plus, it has a little feedback. 13.2cm capped.
