Vintage Pens: 4107 Parker Lucky Curve
Filling Mechanism: Button Filler
Era: 1920-1929   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $59.99
Vintage Pens: 4107: Parker: Lucky Curve
There's so much to love about this Parker Lucky Curve...and so much to be disappointed by. On the one hand, this vintage pen has an excellent cap and barrel with no cracks and sharp pinstripe chasing as well as a clean imprint. But the cap band has a lot of brassing on the bottom edge. We'ver restored it with a new ink sac. It has its original intact Lucky Curve feed AND an original Parker Lucky Curve P3X nib! Click the headline to see a close-up. That image is magnified close to 10 times its original size, but it still doesn't show the huge hairline crack sprouting out through the 3 and drifting to the right of the breather hole. You can almost see a little crack leading toward the section from the breather hole. This rarer vintage nib of 14k gold writes a smooth fine line, and in its younger days had reliable flex...but now if you try to flex it, you might split the nib in two. Be very careful if you chose to write with it. 11.8cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 4147: Namiki Pilot: Vanishing Point Decimo Sesenta
Limited to only 400 made, our brown marble Pilot Vanishing Point Decimo Sesenta is a rare treat for modern Pilot pen collectors. A close inspection reveals it is in nearly mint condition. The clickable fountain pen is a novelty that never grows old for us. It comes with its original converter and also uses Pilot cartridges. Click the headline to see its 18k gold nib that was tweaked by nibsmith Gustavo Rodriguez. We find it writes a firm, fine line with a little feedback. Very responsive. 14cm.
Vintage Pens: 4104 Parker Lucky Curve
Filling Mechanism: Button Filler
Era: 1930-1939   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $99.99
Vintage Pens: 4104: Parker: Lucky Curve
Saving people money during the Great Depression, Parker set out to make a more affordable series of pens. This ringtop model is a rare example of an early plastic they used with a really attractive red pattern. The faint imprint says Parker Lucky Curve, however, on restoring the pen, it doesn't have a Lucky Curve feed. In fact, its feed is missing a couple collector fins. We installed a new ink sac and pressure bar. Click the headline to see the old plier mark damage on the section. Its 14k gold nib writes a very nice extra-fine to fine line...AND it has a little FLEX. Overall, the pen only shows light wear. Unfortunately, there is one more hitch. The new pressure bar forces the button to ride a little higher than it used to, and the streamlined blind cap doesn't seat all the way down properly. You can see it in the photo. 11.5cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4091 Omas Paragon
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $499.99  Was: $599.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4091: Omas: Paragon
Omas Paragon pens are in peak demand, and we think you are going to love this scarlet red rollerball pen. Hardly a trace of wear blemishes the stunning celluloid of this classic Italian pen maker. Ours comes with a working refill, and we are happy to say that it takes Schmidt P8126 refills. So you needn't worry that the pen will never take refills now that Omas is out of business. The layers and depths of its celluloid will captivate you for hours as you write. 14cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 4075 Sheaffer Lifetime Telephone Dialer
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1930-1939   Fountain Pen Nib Size: F
Price: $299.99
Vintage Pens: 4075: Sheaffer: Lifetime Telephone Dialer
Way back in the 20th century we had curious inventions known as telephones. They were simple electrical devices that allowed people to talk to each other over long distances. No texting. No videos. No camera. Just talking. To place a call, as it was known, you'd have to spin a ring to connect to a different phone's number. Sheaffer Lifetime Telephone Dialer pens included a special tail to help people spin the ring and dial a number. Definitely on the rarer side of Sheaffer collection, these pens are a real treat. We restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. The jade green celluloid has only a few spots of discoloring and looks amazingly sharp. Click the headline for a close up. 14k gold nib writes a delightfully smooth, wet fine line. There is a little wobble in the nib between the left shoulder and section. Its matching pencil still works! Takes 1.1mm lead. 14.3cm capped.
Vintage Pens: 4073 Sheaffer Balance Abalone
Filling Mechanism: Lever Filler
Era: 1930-1939   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $249.99
Vintage Pens: 4073: Sheaffer: Balance Abalone
Glittering abalone shell sets inlaid into the ebonite cap and barrel of our oversized Sheaffer Balance Lifetime. As much a piece of jewelry as it is a functional daily writer, and we are happily surprised that the abalone isn't heavily discolored. Unfortunately, the cap and barrel have some deep scratches and obvious wear. No cracks and fully restored with a new ink sac. You will find brassing on the pocket clip and cap band. Its two-tone 14k gold nib writes a firm, extra-fine line with a little feedback. Click the headline for close-ups. 13.9cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4020 Mont Blanc LeGrand
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $299.99  Was: $349.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4020: Mont Blanc: LeGrand
Fountain pens aren't for everybody, but class and style are. Montblanc LeGrand rollerball pens have the advantage of looking just as rich and powerful as their fountain pen siblings. Their greatest feature for some is having a water-based ink cartridge combined with a ballpoint pen's convenient delivery system. Our pen comes loaded with a working blue refill, but we have no idea how much ink remains. This pen was well loved. It was a dutiful worker that earned its wear honestly. No cracks, however, th eiinitial "E.R.R." are engraved on the clip. Click the headline for close-ups. 14.4cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 4019 Mont Blanc LeGrand Bordeaux
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $399.99  Was: $499.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4019: Mont Blanc: LeGrand Bordeaux
Discontinued for at least a decade now, Montblanc LeGrand ballpoint pens in the "Bordeaux" color are getting harder and harder to find. We felt quite lucky to find this one and offer it to you. It is in great working order and there are no cracks or scratches. Unfortunately, it does have a few scuffs running up and down the barrel and a couple smaller ones on the little tail cap dome. Nobody will see or notice them unless they hold the pen close under a light. Your new preowned pen comes complete with a working black refill and serial number in the clip band. Bigger grip for easier comfort with less cramping. 14.2cm.
