Era: 1980-present
Price: $49.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 4866: Sheaffer: Sheaffer Prelude
Sheaffer Prelude pens aren't usually this mult-functional, but we think that you will love our preowned pen. When you open the cap, it looks like a highlighter marker, BUT when you twist the section grip, the marker retracts and exposes a ballpoint pen refill! Its brushed steel cap and barrel look like new. Its only flaw is a little flaking of the metal around the rim of the nose cone where the marker and ballpoint come out. Better yet, this comes with the original box, two unopened highlighter refills and a spare ballpoint refill! Inside the pen right now is a dummy marker and working blue ballpoint refill. 13.3cm capped.

Pre-Owned Pens: 4878 Pelikan 30—PARTS ONLY
Filling Mechanism: Piston Filler
Era: 1960-1979   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $25.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 4878: Pelikan: 30—PARTS ONLY
PARTS PEN ONLY! Pelikan 30 fountain pens are handsome pens from either the 1970s or '80s, we think, but, unfortunately, this one has some serious problems. It barrel seems to be cracked at both ends. You can't see it in the photo, but it leaks like a sieve. The inner piston filler seems to work well. Its gold-plated cap is in pretty good shape. So is its nib. If you have a good barrel but need a cap or nib or some other part, this might be the one that helps you make your old pen whole, again.

We don't often get avant garde pens in stock, but when we do, it is exciting. Our Jean Pielle Lepine Free Ride ballpoint pen is designed like a motorcycle, and, yet, it is very easy to hold and write with. The "seat" of the motorcycle acts as the clicker! Its nose cone unscrews to replace the refill. However, it will likely be a while before this working black Parker-style refill runs out. It comes complete with its box. Ideal for the motorcycle enthusiast or avant garde pen lover in your life. 16.5cm.
