Vintage Pens: 5349: Waterman: Patrician
Here it is! One of the Granddaddies of Grail Pens: the Waterman Patrician. We've restored this vintage pen with a new ink sac. What makes this pen really stand out to us is its black hard rubber (ebonite) cap and barrel. It has a little oxidation and moderate wear, but it isn't a mess of chocolate hazing, either. No cracks. Click the headline for close-ups. You'll write a nice, firm medium line with a little feedback with its original 14k gold Patrician nib. There's a little brassing on the cap band, and there's a slight bulge under the left-side of the clip (as you face it) where it attaches to the pen. The big golden Waterman's seal on the flat tail of the pen looks like a baseball with "Waterman's" written inside it. This is the big 'un. 13.9cm capped.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5285 Omas Marconi
Filling Mechanism: Piston Filler
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: M
Price: $499.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5285: Omas: Marconi
The genius designers and craftsman of Omas decided to pay tribute to the first 100 years of the invention of the radio. As such, we present the limited edition Omas Marconi, named for the man largely credited with the invention of the radio...though we know one radio-loving pen collector who would roll up his sleeves and duke it out with Omas over who was the first, if Omas was still in business. Yes, this pen is even more limited, as a result. New Old Stock! This preowned luxury pen has never been inked, and it comes with all of its original boxes. The piston still works smoothly. Its two-tone 18k gold nib is marked medium. The only marking on it seems to be where it was rubbed by one of the protective brass bars while it was in its box.

Pencil: 5348 Sheaffer Titan
Filling Mechanism: Pencil
Era: 1920-1929
Price: $99.99
Pencil: 5348: Sheaffer: Titan
Sheaffer Titans were the company's flagship oversized pencils of the 1920s. Our vintage pencil is in great working order. Twist the tail topper to advance and retract the 1.1mm lead. It comes with spare leads and a hardened eraser. There's a little knick in the top of the cap and some wear to the clip and nose cone...but not especially damning. The celluloid barrel looks pretty good with only a trace of discoloring. 13.5cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5343 Sheaffer Targa
Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $75.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 5343: Sheaffer: Targa
Sheaffer's first real hit in the post-Golden Age of pens came in the 1970s with the Sheaffer Targa. Its design screams 1970s and '80s. Bold, modern, a cylindrical body squared off on the top and bottom. Our pen has a matte-black finish with gold plated trim. An excellent rollerball pen, its refill is a real tanker. There is an old refill in it now, but we have just ordered some new ones, which we will include with it, as soon as they arrive. Minimal, if any, wear. 13.7cm capped.

Yet, this preowned pen maintains classic Parker styling and is a good dependable daily writer. Minimal wear, if any. It has a golden alloy nib that you will find to write a very smooth medium line. This pen uses only Parker converters or cartridges and comes with neither. Click the headline for close-ups. 13.2cm capped.
