Its greatest flaws are majority brassing on its two skinny cap bands and some brassing on the pocket clip and thicker cap band. 13cm capped.
Pencil: 4850 Parker Duofold
Era: 1920-1929
Price: $49.99
Pencil: 4850: Parker: Duofold
All the cool cats in the 1920s had an orange Parker Duofold. This pencil is in great working order, loaded with 1.1mm lead and a spare. It is the medium size, as opposed to a small or oversized version. There is some brassing on the gold-plated trim. Tough to see in the photo, but it was pretty obviously dropped on its tail topper once. One side is a bit depressed. 12.8cm.

Pre-Owned Pens: 4819: Namiki Pilot: Dragon
2022 might not be the year of the dragon, but it could be with this handsome sterling silver Namiki Dragon rollerball pen. We photographed the pen to showcase the dragon as best we could. There is a perfectly nice pocket clip on this preowned luxury pen. No dents or significant scratches mar the surface of this writing instrument. At worst there are a couple of very light shallow scratches. This pen comes with a working Pilot G2 refill of black. Writing with this pen is an excellent way to see in the year of the tiger. 13.8cm capped.
Pencil: 4840 Conklin Nozac
Era: 1930-1939
Price: $75.00
Pencil: 4840: Conklin: Nozac
Red herringbone designs are among the most sought after by Conklin Nozak pen collectors. Here is a rare vintage pencil to match! Aside from a little brassing and wear, this writing instrument looks pretty sharp. It uses 1.1mm leads, and there are plenty of spares under the tail cap and hardened eraser. Twist the tail cap to advance and retract the lead. The imprint is fairly weak. 13.7cm.

Vintage Pens: 4841: Parker: Duofold
Black streamlined Parker Duofold Seniors aren't the rarest pens in the Duofold line-up, but they aren't exactly everyday finds, either. We lucked out in getting ahold of this handsome devil that is fully restored. It was gently used, as you will see some light scratches and wear from where the cap snugged against the barrel, but there are no cracks or deep scratches. You'll find a little brassing on the lower cap band and clip. The barrel imprint is nice and crisp with a 1936 date code, which would also explain the arrow nib and comb feed. You'll write a smooth medium line with its 14k gold nib. 13.1cm capped.

It is a beautiful silver pearl design with tolerable barrel clarity with ambering. No cracks, no scratches, no significant wear. It comes with a fresh diaphragm and a clean imprint and top and bottom silver pearl design jewels. There's monotone 14k gold nib. Click the headline for close-ups. Great aluminum speedline filler. Its only flaw seems to be the darkened metal trim around the blind-cap jewel. 13.6cm capped.
