Pre-Owned Pens: 5494 Metaphys 4-Pen Roll
Era: 1980-present
Price: $49.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5494: Metaphys: 4-Pen Roll
A light-walnut brown leather, this 4-pen roll is extremely soft and supple to the touch. It shows some wear but it is so amazing to touch. The interior is likely a grey nylon fabric with slots big enough to hold a Montblanc 146, maybe even a 149, but that seems as if it would push the boundaries of the slots. Also inside is an unsecured pocket, and a very small zippered pocket for securing ink cartridges or rollerball refills. 18.8cm long.

Filling Mechanism: Rollerball
Era: 1980-present
Price: $199.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5519: Pelikan: Souverän R730
In the 1990s, Pelikan started having a ton of fun with its standard issue Souverän pen designs. This Pelikan Souverän R730 is an especially nice rollerball pen with a sterling silver cap and tail cap. The tail cap is perfect and there is only one shallow dent in the side of the cap you can see in the photo. Click the headline for close-ups. In real life, you will easily find the dent if you are looking for it, but you will easily miss it, if you aren't looking for it. The rest of the pen comes with minimal light wear from use. You also get a working blue refill with the pen. 12.5cm capped.

It is an adorable little pen whose design pattern is called "chisled carbon." Click the headline for a close-up. Twist the nose cone to advance or retract the ballpoint. These actually don't take Parker-style refills. It takes a stick refill! This one comes with a working black refill, and the pen appears to be in excellent condition with minimal wear. 10cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5482 Giuliano Mazzuoli Nobile Italia
Filling Mechanism: Ballpoint
Era: 1980-present
Price: $75.00
Pre-Owned Pens: 5482: Giuliano Mazzuoli: Nobile Italia
With a design inspired by a zeppelin, the Giuliano Mazzuoli Nobile Italia commemorates a failed 1928 crossing of the North Pole by blimp. Italian general Umberto Nobile attempted to fly the airship Nobile over the North Pole on a second flight following his successful effort to do so a few years earlier. Unfortunately, the Italia crashed, but luckily everyone on board survived and was rescued. This ballpoint pen is in excellent condition showing minimal wear. It comes with a working Parker-style refill in black. Unscrew the nose cone to replace the refill. Twist the blind cap in the tail to advance and retract the refill. 12.4cm.
Pre-Owned Pens: 5489 Kaweco Art Sport Metallic Turquoise
Filling Mechanism: Cartridge/Converter
Era: 1980-present   Fountain Pen Nib Size: XF
Price: $199.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5489: Kaweco: Art Sport Metallic Turquoise
Shimmering blue-green luster makes for a brilliant Kaweco Art Sport fountain pen known as "metallic turquoise." Our preowned pen is also like new and/or new old stock. If it was used, it was only used once or twice. It looks stunning. These are limited edition pens no longer in production. You only fill it with short standard international cartridges. The neat thing about this steel nib is that is can be unscrewed and replaced with other point sizes from Kaweco. Kinda like old Esterbrooks or modern Pelikan, even though it won't fit their nibs. You will write an extra-fine line with this one. Minimal, if any, wear. 10.1cm capped.

Price: $4,999.99
Pre-Owned Pens: 5462: Montegrappa: Luxor
Ever wonder what it felt like for Howard Carter to be the first to enter King Tut's tomb after hundreds of years? Entering the enchantingly elaborate and beautiful Montegrappa Luxor pen might be as close as most of us get. A modern pen, it carries the weight and history of Egypt's ancient pharaohs. Its sparkling blue cap and barrel represent the life-giving Nile river. Sterling silver hieroglyphs surround the pen. Like many of the items tucked into Tut's tomb, this pen is New Old Stock and never before used. Protected by a suede wrap in a woven shroud, the pen is completely scratch, dent and crack free. The piston-filler seems stuck from disuse, but this pen is more decorative art than daily user. Additional shipping charges may apply due to the unusually large height and weight of the boxes.

Vintage Pens: 5525 Waterman 12 SF
Filling Mechanism: Aerometric Filler
Era: 1910-1919   Fountain Pen Nib Size: SF
Price: $749.99
Vintage Pens: 5525: Waterman: 12 SF
Behold the mighty Sleeve-Filler! Honestly, some days we still have to pinch ourselves to make sure the dream we are living is really not just a dream. This Waterman 12SF in its original box creates a pinch-ourselves moment. Gary Lehrer's Waterman book says these were made between 1910 and 1915. The old hard rubber is fragile. As such, we did not force the section to open to restore this pen. This pen is in far too good a condition to accidentally destroy. It remains without a working ink sac. The sleeve on the barrel has a crisp imprint and can be gently coaxed and wiggled to reveal the squeeze bar filler. It is a little stiff in moving so don't force anything. No cracks! 14k gold nib is a stiff semi-flex. Original box a little faded and ink stained but still nice to have. Additional photos available upon request.
